We're located 15 minutes off of I-95 on Otter Creek @ the Bush River in a tranquil setting. NOTE: The BW map often shows our location incorrectly. Address provided when you request a stay. You can fish or kayak from our pier or just relax in the hammock. Lots of nearby stores and restaurants or visit historic Havre de Grace 30 minutes away. Just around the corner, The Island @ Flying Point Marina has great food and bands Thursday thru Sunday during the boating season. Monday through Friday you can take the MARC train to visit Baltimore and Washington DC. We love to socialize and swap travel stories but if you just want alone time, you've got it.

Cats are allowed but NO DOGS, please. A tragic incident involving a member's dog and our beloved cat makes the presence of a dog on our property too painful at this time. Submit a photo of your current rig and tow vehicle or toad if different from what's in your profile picture. All towing setups must meet current and safe towing standards. Quiet hours are 9pm to 9am. Only very low noise generators allowed outside of these hours. Remove all trash and if you smoke, contain your cigarette butts. No illegal drugs or loud music. No set up of tents or gazebos. You may set up your own small grill for cooking. No fires are allowed without the host's approval and must be contained in our chiminea. If your vehicle has any leaks, place an absorbent matt underneath it. Pads are required under stabilizers and jacks to protect the driveway. No arrivals after dark. Check-out time is 11am.
Location
Our paved parking area will fit a Class C&B motor home or travel trailer up to 25' MAXIMUM OVERALL LENGTH. Tow vehicle or toad must detach and park separately. If you're only staying 1 night, we may be able to accommodate a longer RV in the driveway instead of the parking area. Message us with your rig details and trip plans before submitting a stay request and we'll let you know. Our 15amp electricity will run lights, fans and refrigerator, NOT air conditioners or space heaters. Please text us at 443-858-1990 at least 15 minutes prior to arrival so we can be ready to assist you with BACKING into our parking space.

We live in Harford County, MD on Otter Creek at the Bush River, a tributary of the Chesapeake Bay. We began RV'ing in 2013 as Florida snowbirds and continue to do so. Now fully retired, we've completed 3 cross country trips, and one trip north to Acadia. We have visited 30+ National & State Parks, Monuments and other amazing places. Our cat Maui traveled with us for 8 years and loved it, until she was tragically killed in Oct. 2023 by a member's large unrestrained Huskey. She loved the adventures and meeting new RV friends. We do miss our traveling companion, but she is with us in spirit. Our host name reflects that we hiked to the peaks of Guadalupe Mountain NP and Emory Mountain in Big Bend NP, the highest points in Texas. Anyone who does is known as a "Peakbagger". We've also hiked to the bottom of the Grand Canyon and to the top of Angel's Landing in Zion NP. That's how "Peaks & Valleys, Brent and CJ's Adventures" became our open Facebook travel page, which we welcome you to review to get to know us better.

Our Otter Creek hosts were the best hosts ever! Great communication, wonderful flat parking, and a lovely view of the water on their beautiful property. Best of all, we spent a couple hours just talking and getting to know each other - it couldn’t have been more fun and they couldn’t have been more accommodating. We hope they will visit us soon! Thank you!!!

What a perfect stay to begin our BW experience! CJ and Brent are great hosts, from ease in communication and planning to welcoming us and our pup, and assisting in our set up. They are adventuresome and fun, and we had a delightful time sharing stories and building new friendships. Their property is spectacular and peaceful, and we enjoyed everything from morning coffee on their pier to an evening outside by the fire, to kayaking on Otter Creek and a day spent enjoying historic Havre de Grace. We cant say thank you to them enough and we look forward to a return trip to their beautiful Otter Creek Oasis!

This has to be the most beautiful BW location I've ever been to. Idealic location on a lake with amazing views. The hosts Brent and CJ were the nicest people, offering a tour of their pier and backyard. We sat and talked about life in Chesapeake Bay area and they showed photos of how they had completely remodeled the original farmhouse. I can't thank them enough and hope to return one day.
