We are located in Fredericksburg, VA in Spotsylvania County about 10 miles from I-95, about 60 miles south of Washington, DC and about 60 miles north of Richmond, VA. Suggested Local Attractions: Fredericksburg, VA is known as the childhood home of President George Washington and has played an important part in the American Civil War. Much of Fredericksburg’s tourist industry is devoted to this history, with old Georgian mansions and buildings connected to Washington, a national cemetery and military park devoted to the Battle of Fredericksburg, and plenty of museums and cultural landmarks that date back to these times. Fredericksburg is also home to great local businesses and attractions, including breweries/wineries, cafes, restaurants, theater, and shopping. Let's not forget walking/hiking trails.

PLEASE be respectful to our neighbors and of our home/property. 1. Pick up after your beloved pet/fur-baby does his/her thing... okay with leash or unleashed if your pet is friendly and will not run into 40 MPH+ street... we loved our fur-baby, he somehow learned not to run away over time (we so miss our Chihuahua rescue, R.I.P. Cesar) 2. No smoking (cigar, cigarette, vape)... okay to smoke meat 3. No firearms outside of your rig... okay with Second Amendment Rights <3 4. No performing automotive/RV maintenance involving gas, oil, radiator, transmission fluids, etc.
Location
Access Road Conditions: gravel/millings; fairly leveled; driveway is perpendicular to Elys Ford Road. RV Parking: Back up onto driveway OR onto grass parallel to side of garage. If parking on the driveway, back in from the street (not beyond walkway) so leftside of RV is closest to the left edge of driveway, farthest from the garage door.

Alberto and Jane were such wonderful hosts. We arrived after dark and they were by the roadside to greet us and assist us with backing in from the road into their driveway (this is important as the main road is narrow and busy at times). With ease we backed in and settled in next to their garage. They provided us with 30 amp electric and offered water (but we declined). The sight was relatively level. We spent a very peaceful night at Casa De Alberto and Jane and felt very safe. The hosts welcomed us to spend some time later in the evening to socialize but as we were tired after a long day of travel we took a reign check. We cannot say enough good about the warm hospitality from the hosts. We felt right at home. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Great help preparation in parking with supplied two way radios. Electric and water supply very helpful.

I had the pleasure of staying with Al and Jane for several days earlier this week. They are the nicest, kindest people, and they really went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. They have a 30 amp hookup and water is also readily available. We ended up hanging out together two nights out of three, and we bonded over our shared love of RVs and dogs. They are delightful people and I count them now among my treasured RV friends.

Not only did they understand completely when I was running late, but they were graciously waiting to greet me when I arrived. After that, we had a very lovely conversation, which was really heart filling. Upon leaving, we had a selfie together and they even recorded me leaving their drive way! It was all very sweet as thisbis my first time on the road like this. Now I have a lasting memory of Jane and Al.
