This location is within the city limits of a very small town. Neighbors are close by but fairly unobtrusive. You may hear car doors or kids playing occasionally. Rigs can park in several fairly level spots in the yard. Two spots on grass may be tricky if it's wet, but these are the best for long rigs. These spots and the gravel parking pad in front of the house can access step-down power if desired. (Soon-to-be-upgraded to tar) dirt pad with 30 amp hookup behind the house. We have recently removed trees and branches, but probably want to be 12' or lower to use 30 amp pad. There are 3 Public campground dump stations within 5 miles. You are welcome to tie out a pet while you are in the rig or yard, but they can't be loose in town. Feel free to sit out in the yard and use the swing or firepit. Suggested Local Attractions:Lac qui Parle State Park and Mission. Public art in Montevideo. Watson Lions park in the river valley a nice walk away (about a mile with a steep hill back). Watson is very small! There’s a C-store and a bar with limited food available. 5 miles north to 2 state park dump stations (upper and lower campgrounds) and bait shop or 5 miles south to city park dump station in the next town, where there’s a Walmart, fast food, bars, cinema, and a grocery store.

Small family that loves to travel Details: We have one child left at home and 3 adult kids with partners/spouses. We both work full time opposite shifts and like to get out on the road when we can in our 97 Rialta. Home Town: Watson is very small! There’s a C-store and a bar. 5 miles northwest to state park dump station (upper campground only, services at lower have been closed due to repeated flooding) and bait shop or 6 miles south to city park dump station in the next town, where there’s a Walmart, fast food, bars, cinema and a grocery store. Favorite Boondocking Locations: Still need to get out. We've been sticking close to home to do some work around here while COVID keeps us from travelling as we'd like. Skills or Expertise to Share: Videographer, Mac guru. Good listening ears and conversation. Love conversation.

I'm not sure how to rate this site. I never met the owner (apparently on the Twin Cities). Although I asked how to pay the hook-up fee I received no response. I used the pad behind the house as it was the only suitable spot for my 30' class A. It is a fairly quiet spot and a good jump off site for hiking in the Lac sue Parle state and county parks.

Our host was there to greet us upon our arrival, nice small little town. There is a state park that is close by. We enjoyed our stay.

We were asked to go to a piano concerto, very nice. We loved it. The car ride there was beautiful. All the stories and the encounters with the people from the area made this visit great. Thank you.

Casa del Goose is a home in a residential neighborhood in Watson, MN. Easy access to a paved parking spot behind the house with 30 amp available and access to water. I appreciated that the family made me comfortable, joined me for a nice fireside chat and also went about their own business. A great place to relax, recharge and meet new friends.
