Location
Short distance from Hwy 400. Partially paved road, partially loose surface road normally in OK condition but sometimes with potholes. Good gravel driveway but not good for backing down. There's enough area to turn-around once down the driveway. There's lots of parking space for overall length but the turn-around area is too tight for larger rigs. Fairly easy turn-around for up to 35 ft motor home or 20 ft trailer (total length of trailer) plus tow vehicle. You will not get turned around with anything larger.

We are retired Canadians. Our home base is at Six Mile Lake near Port Severn Ontario. We bought our RV so we could do some travelling and visit our "kids" and grandchildren. We originally joined Harvest Hosts/Boon-dockers Welcome in 2020 as a way to expand the options for overnight stays while travelling in the RV, but we soon found out it was also a great way to meet some very wonderful, friendly and interesting people with some shared interests, who we would otherwise never meet. No matter where we are travelling, the US, Canada East Coast, Northern Ontario and Quebec, the hosts have all been extremely gracious. We have found that our travel experiences have been enriched through meeting our hosts and we highly recommend booking multiple stays with member hosts in your travel schedule.

Cathy and Gord are wonderful hosts and have a one-of-a-kind property. They obviously invest lots of love and time into their little piece of heaven! It's beautiful. We graciously accepted an invitation to share bevvies and stories in their home after dinner chores were complete. We returned to our RV feeling like we had just visited with old friends! 30 amp power and a nice, level, gravel pad made the stay perfect! Thank you, Gord and Cathy! Hope to see you again "down the road"!
