Rob came out and met us to help us get into the spot. His communication from the first question to the day we left, was top notch. He had water and allowed us to hook up to his dedicated 30Amp for a donation. Once we got our TT settled in, he said if we needed ANYTHING, dont hessitate to reach out. The location is a block away from a busy road HOWEVER, his street was not busy at all. I left a Canyon cooler and a jerry can in the bed of my truck and never was concerned. I will definitely use Rob again in the future as we frequent the Colorado Springs area.

These hosts provided the most welcoming experience I have ever received with BW/HH thus far. During my southward migration from Montana, I found myself in CO needing a safe place to hole up during the first winter storm of the season. Thankfully, these gracious hosts accepted my request, and I found their friendly and kind nature to be extraordinary, just as other reviewers described. Due to the weather and my need to catch up on work after many days of driving, I wasn't very interactive, but I was able to work efficiently from the location via my phone hotspot (Verizon tower: 5.12 Mbps download, 5.06 Mbps upload). The electric option the hosts provide allowed me to run my small space heater all night, which kept the RV just above freezing. Rob quickly shoveled the sidewalk and area around my rig after the big snowfall. He even cleared the snow and icicles from my RV! I donned winter garb and walked downtown (about an hour) to climb at CityROCK (awesome gym!). Thank you, Rob and Trish, for the pleasant safe haven you provided, and I hope to visit again in better weather!

We were blown away by the welcome we received from the host here. Right from the moment we arrived when they helped us to park and level our van they could not have been more helpful. The welcome pack was just outstanding! We would love to stay here again if we are in the area as we had a great time chatting with the hosts.

Rob and Trish were fabulous house. They gave us a box of all information about the area of details on fuel, attractions, dumping and everything you can think of. Parking was very level, they even provided leveling blocks, and a quiet neighborhood. I would recommend this Colorado Springs boondocks site.
