Location

Access Road Conditions: Gravel Road very good condition, we have one spot, turn into driveway and back into spot then pull back out go left and you will be back on road. We have other places (70 acres) but you would need smaller camper or tent camping I'll let you be the judge of that. As always we are not responsible for any accidents or miss haps on persons on equipment.

Last minute request and quick appoval--thank you, Frank. Unfortunately we arrived after dark making it tougher to find the driveway which is to the right of the mailbox. First considered the grassy driveway sort of thing to the left of the mailbox but to that would have been a mistake in the soft grass! Nice level gravel driveway in front of the red chicken coop. Was afraid we'd block access for Frank's car but he assured me they could easily get around us. Frank and Debbie were very friendly and offered us water and electrical which we didn't need. My leashed Labs were fascinated by the turkeys, chickens, roosters, guineafowl and cows. Nice place for the night!

Magnificent farm and more than wonderful hosts whose property borders the historic Camp Mud where 8500 Confederate Soldiers camped out during the Civil War with Stonewall Jackson. We did not have any of the problems that Stonewall Jackson's men had, we were high and dry. My husband loved listening to Bobcats and the yipping of coyotes as he fell asleep.
