This was our very first Harvest Host experience, and it was amazing. Not only did we have a wonderful one-night stay at Claude's farm, but this kind man was our saviour in an emergency situation! Unexpectedly, our truck ran out of diesel about five minutes away from the host destination. It was about 7:00 pm and the closest gas station we called did not answer. When we called M. Pelletier, without hesitation he volunteered to meet us with a cherry can of fuel! After we filled the tank, first he escorted us to a gas station that was open, and then led the way to his farm, helped us park, and provided an electric hookup. A true human angel!

Clauvie's had a wonderful grassed area that we stayed on the way back from Nova Scotia. Sunsets were great and very private and quite considering it is beside a road. Although he says he doesn't speak good english, don't let him fool you he speaks it great in my books. Very kind man. thank you for letting us stay with such a short notice.

We were so happy with our stay. He was so accommodating and lovely to chat with. Gave us great recommendations on how to get to New Brunswick, where to stay and places to eat. A very kind person!!

Having returned from our month-long trip and dealt with the many issues that required our immediate attention, we can turn our attention to giving feed back on the wonderful rest spots that were made available to us through Boon Dockers Welcome. Claude communicated well and gave excellent instructions where to park even though he, himself, was not available on site. The parking space was easy to access and included the use of electricity without charge,. We highly recommend The Hub as a stop-over on your travels.
