Wow - what a great time with great people! Ralph & Shelley were absolutely great and we had the best time hearing about their Mexico adventures. So much so that we are thinking of joining them in Mexico in January. They provided so much info to make that trip less intimidating. Also had a good time meeting some of their friends and staying up to 1 am laughing and talking with our hosts and Bob/Sue (other boondockers). Would stay again for sure.

We stayed 2 nights with Ralph and Shelley. Can't say enough great things about these two. Warm, welcoming hosts, sharing their lakeside space, dock, electric, water, etc. with us and offering to help anyway they can. Loads of laughs with other guests - Steve & Jackie and Ralph & Shelley. So much fun!! We stayed up way too late! This was our first Boondocker's Welcome experience and we don't see how it can be beat! Pretty easy access of Highway 16 too. Thanks, Ralph & Shelley!

We found our hosts Shelly and Ralph to be very friendly and helpful. The site was nice and very quiet. Our cat had a nice walk (on her leash) outside. Nice bench overlooking Cluculz Lake.

Had the good fortune to spend a night. What a lovely and welcoming couple. The directions to find them were clear and very easy to follow. Almost feel asleep relaxing on the dock after a long drive. Was invited to join them and their neighbors at the campfire and was regaled with some of their RV adventures. If I'm back this way again I will definitely be staying if available.

A beautiful spot to just relax, swim in the lake and go for walks. Watch out for the bears though. Our camping area was nice and shady and we were well looked after.
