We are located at the mouth of a canal on Sturgeon Lake. It is a quiet neighbourhood with boating, kayaking, fishing, biking trails. We are 15 minutes North if the Victoria Trail, part of the Great Canadian Trail. The area for parking your RV is grassy with a view of the canal. There is a boat launch just a few minutes down the road and we can accommodate your rig and boat trailer. You can moor your boat in front of your RV on our canal wall. There is a small pebble beach next to the boat launch for swimming. We offer chairs next to the fire pit as well as some yard games: horse shoes, bean bag toss, ladder toss, ring toss. Feel free to make use of them.

We are new to RV’ing. Up to now we’ve been cruising the Trent Severn Waterways on our cabin cruiser. We’ve decided to expand our travels and are now proud RV’ers. Our rig, like our boat, is called Life’s Reward. We hope to travel across Canada and the US, experiencing new adventures. Rod is retired but I’m doing some part time work so staying in one place on working days is ideal. Rod loves to fish and sometimes we’ll be pulling our 21’ Legend fishing boat. We are quiet folks that enjoy evenings by the fire and meeting new people. We hope to see you soon

Colleen and Rodney were fantastic hosts with a fabulous property along a small canal. It was easy to access, flat and level with a grassy cover. Rodney started a roaring fire for us our first night and we were treated to a boat ride along the shoreline of Sturgeon Lake the next day. We would love to return.

Colleen and Rod were fabulous hosts. I was their first BW guest. They went way beyond the call of duty. I was surprised with a boat ride, which they say they love giving to people who stay in their guest cottage. After watching a fabulous sunset on the river, we enjoyed a nice fire to round off the evening. Directions to their place was precise. Parking is easy with lots of room to turn around. Their yard is right on the river or canal so the view and the area is peaceful. Its an asy wslk to the beach, should you choose to check it out. Fishing and kayaking can easily be done off their dock. I would absolutely stay again if I am ever back in the area.
