The Grand Mesa, Ouray, Telluride, Moab and Gunnison are wonderful day trips! Suggested Local Attractions:We have the Colorado National Monument within a 10 minute drive, which offers Mtn biking, hiking trails, petroglyphs and curly horned rams. We are 2+hours from Ouray Hotsprings, Telluride, Silverton and it’s Durango/Silverton train ride. Less than 1 hour to drive the beautiful road to the largest flat top Mesa with over 300 lakes, fir trees and glorious wildflowers! Bernie & Marti are very hospitable hosts. We parked on the street in a safe and quiet cul-de-sac. They provided us with electricty and water which we appreciated very much. Would definately stay there again. Thank you so much

Marti and Bernie were perfect hosts, greeting us warmly and bring us into their home. We have a wonderful conversation. We skimmed over the top of many topics. I could tell that we'd all would have liked to have gone deeper given more time. The parking spot is on a quiet cul-de-sac street with very little traffic, Although we needed none, Marti and Bernie offered to help us with electricity, water, and dumping our black water cassette. We look forward to connecting with Marti and Bernie the next time we head through Grand Junction. Fair winds.

We had a great time over there. They were very good with communication up front and gladly helped to fill up our potable water tank. The neighbourhood is easy to find and very quiet. They are very friendly people and it was great to meet and discuss with them. I wish we had had more time to share stories. The toffee place they recommended in Grand junction is a must try (Enstrom Candies). Would recommend and go again anytime. Thanks again!

Marti and Bernie are lovely people, with a lovely house, in a lovely neighborhood, and they were nothing but helpful and accommodating. Parking on the street was easy and level, and the Wi-Fi was great from there. They seem to enjoy hosting, so don't hesitate!
