Welcome to Constellation Farmstead. We are a multi-faceted agritourism destination combining farming, homesteading and leisure. We are located at the base of the beautiful Keweenaw Peninsula, part of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. We currently have camping space available both for tents and dry camping with an RV. Our farm is a buzz with animals we have Idaho Pasture Pigs, a host of chickens and handful of ducks and the softest Silver Fox rabbits you will ever meet. Our hiking trails are open, and markers are being added. You are welcome to hike through our property on any maintained trails. We’ve got a fully functional disc golf cours that is open for play year round, let us know if you’d like to play!! In the years to come, our beautiful barn will become a venue for weddings as well as a suite and rentable rooms where you can stay. We’ll also be continuing to grow our family farm, orchard and of course our growing array of animals for you to visit. For hookups we are happy with a trade of assistance around our farm instead of the $10/day. Please let us know when booking which hookups you may need -thanks! Generators are only allowed on a case by case basis and not allowed after dark hours unless previously discussed because of how sound carries, and we pride ourselves on the quiet you will experience here. Suggested Local Attractions:Copper county, and The Keweenaw Area have many attractions available. The Pelkie one room school house is open on Sundays and holidays. Hanak Homestead is open daily. We also have brochures available for many other local options and are happy to share stories of what we love. Access Road Conditions: All of our RV spots have fit up to 40” rigs. If you’re rig is longer we will do our best to host you in our largest spot that is on gravel in front of our barn. We are located on a paved road, we have a gravel driveway that is easier to access from the north with longer rigs. You can drive straight down and we have two options for backing up and turning around for leaving. Please let us know your ETA by the day of your arrival so we can meet you and get you settled in to your space. When planning your eta please remember we are in eastern time zone. You can now easily find us on google maps by searching "Constellation Farmstead" as our address usually doesn't bring you to our location. We are young farm owners and love having guests on our property. Details: Hey there! We are an outdoor loving family who is beyond ecstatic to live on such a beautiful farm. We bought our farm in Fall 2020 and are loving watching it come together. We both love photography so we’ve got an eye for the aesthetically pleasing and living at our farm feels like living in a painting. Home Town: We live in the Western Upper Peninsula of Michigan just north of a small town called Pelkie. Skills or Expertise to Share: We love talking about farming, sustainable living, Herbal and wellness, photography and sharing our adventures.

Great place to stay. Peaceful and easy to find. We enjoyed helping to feed the birds and animals.

If you want to learn about farmsteading, AJ is a wealth of knowledge. There’s also a disc golf course ON the farm so if that’s your bag, don’t forget your discs! AJ let me tag along on a couple chores to learn about feeding livestock, general farmstead successes/challenges, trimming apple trees, and making maple syrup. He has a lot of knowledge so don’t be afraid to ask questions. Also the Keweenaw Peninsula is beautiful. AJ can give you recommendations where to go but I recommend going to the beach on the 26 hwy. It’s amazing and it was very much untouched when I visited. I really enjoyed my stay. It was a great R&R trip.

What I needed: a place to sleep what I got: a friendly animal family, good discussion and sauna time. I was inspired by AJ’s vision as a steward of the land. I hope to return and lend a hand.🐓🦃🐖🐄🐴🦆🎃

We enjoyed our one night stay here. Only wish it hadn't rained in the morning, so we could have taken a walk around with our coffee. AJ and Madelin were great hosts. Communication was awesome and AJ met us at the road to help us get settled in. When I asked how we could take a quick short scenic tour of Lake Superior, he texted us a route. Checked out Madi's products that were set up in the West House. Chose some All Purpose Salve to help Ron and Yarrow System Support to help with a nasty head cold I've picked up during our travels. Would definitely stay hear again and will make sure to stay more than 1 night to fully enjoy the setting.
