We are located in a quaint and quiet area of the Western Upper Peninsula of Michigan. We currently have camping space available both for tents and dry camping with an RV. So far for animals we have 3 pigs, 15 chickens, and 8 of the softest rabbits you will ever meet. Our hiking trails are open, and markers are being added. You are welcome to hike through our property on any maintained trails. In the years to come, our beautiful barn will become a venue for weddings as well as a suite and rentable rooms where you can stay. We’ll also be continuing to grow our family farm, orchard and of course our growing array of animals for you to visit. For hookups we are happy with a trade of assistance around our farm instead of cash. Please let us know when booking which hookups you may need -thanks! Suggested Local Attractions:Copper county, and The Keweenaw Area have many attractions available. The Pelkie one room school house is open on Sundays and holidays. Hanak Homestead is open daily. Top tier boondocking experience here at the farmstead. Great communication with the hosts who were there with their family to greet me upon arrival. I got a tour of the vast property and learned about the hosts’ goals and plans for their future at the farm. Over 100 gorgeous acres to explore with my pups. Keep in mind this is a farm so there are ducks, chickens, pigs, a cow and a horse just in case you have dogs that might be reactive to the animals. I helped out doing some work for them in exchange for my hookup, fresh eggs and a couple sauna sessions. Shared a meal and some good conversation with the warm and inviting hosts. I played a round of disc golf which was a blast. They gave me some great travel tips for nearby places to go and things to see in the western UP. Quiet spot with only the sounds of nature at night to fall asleep to. This is the epitome of what boondocking and life in general should be like. Absolutely do your best to stay here if you’re up in the area.

We had the best time staying at Constellation Farmstead in April. Yes, it's still cold and snowy/rainy/muddy in the UP at that time, but the views are amazing and there aren't a lot of other tourists yet. I can't say enough about the warm welcome we received at the farmstead - including an introduction to all the animals, maple syrup collecting, and hearing the exciting plans for the future. We were lucky enough to have the opportunity to purchase one of their first batches of maple syrup and farm fresh eggs, as the chickens were laying more than the family could consume. The night sky here is amazing! If you like staying in remote areas with welcoming, hardworking hosts this is a place not to be missed. So grateful to have stayed here!

Enjoyed our quiet spot near the barn. They took a lot of time out to show us the farm and animals. Great walking trail for our dog. Delightful people, including the kids.

We slept so well on this beautiful farm and enjoyed evenings filled with starry skies and laughter around the campfire. Walking the trails was a wonderful experience along with picking and eating heirloom apples. This family is so charming, so giving, we enjoyed our stay and plan on being repeat guests.

We enjoyed our peaceful stay and learning about the hosts plans for their property. Helping out around the property and chatting around the fire made for a very pleasant stay. The next time we are heading through this part of the UP we plan on requesting another stay. It will be fun to see the progress on the farm.
