We enjoying traveling and going to new places and boondocking. We’ve learned we love the southwest but enjoy the beach and mountains too. We can with friends and also alone. We enjoy exploring back roads. And we’re like getting to know others in the RV community.. Home Town: Darlington Maryland

We stayed in our 28’ motorhome. Communication was excellent before and during our stay. M & K were kind and very friendly. 15A and water refill. Site was completely level and shady! We explored this beautiful countryside for days. Eagles at the dam, Havre de Grace, swimming in the creek, lots of historic spots to visit. Stores locally. We had to leave a day early due to having mechanical issues and found a mechanic in town that works on RVs. We were offered to stay longer to get our vehicle fixed which was a lovely gesture. Storms rolled through in the afternoon which was nice to watch. Wish we could have stayed longer. Lovely people and a beautiful spot to camp. Thank you so much!

The house is on a quiet, scenic country road. Our hosts greeted us and directed us to park our rig in the side yard, across the driveway from the house. The site had plenty of room, grass, relatively level, and far enough from the house so that it felt private. Although it was near the road, there was very little traffic. At night it was dead quiet. Our views were trees and cornfields. They ran a garden hose and heavy duty 15A extension cord across the driveway for us to hook up to. There are no big towns in the area. Lots of big farms and rolling hills. Very scenic. There is a High's convenience store / gas station nearby that has a decent selection of everday needs including coffee and ice cream. Wawa and Royal Farms a few miles away. For a really nice cafe, try Rise and Grind in Rising Sun. The Conowingo dam is a site to see. Be sure to go down to the visitor area to see the bald eagles go fishing. Bring binoculars. There is also a nice swimming pool nearby. We did some kayaking in Deer Creek. Also went swimming in the clear, cool water. It is shallow and rocky which made it really fun. The water was cloudy one day after it rained but the next day it was crystal clear again. Susquehanna State Park was nice. We enjoyed dinner one night at Granite Run Tap Room in Port Deposit. Very peaceful relaxing visit.

This was our very first BoondockersWelcome stay! We couldn't have been happier with Country Charm! The Peters family set a high standard for the rest of our stays were sure to have. A warm and welcoming couple, eager to share their knowledge and experience and very generous with their property! The location is great too, especially for points around Conewago State park and the lower Susquehanna. The Mason Dixon Trail is just up the road. we highly recommend Country Charm!

On 5/19 I requested 2 days 5/28 & 5/29. Today is 5/30 and the status is still “pending”. I sent 2 emails requesting approval with no reply. I hope that all is well with this host. Possible communication errors?!?!? Will attempt again!

Had a wonderful few days at this quiet country place. Our host and hostess gave us a warm welcome and we had no problem backing into our spot. Had some nice morning shade. We enjoyed being able to set out side in our lawn chairs and just enjoy the day. We were able to camp here and go visit several friends that we had in the area and had not seen in years. They had a nice shady back forty where I was able to walk our dog. Thanks so much for this privilege of camping here.
