We live in a small village 1/2 hour off the Trans Canada Highway. There is a small campground in town with water and a sewer dump though the town prefers only campground guests use it or pay to dump. We are located sort of halfway between Regina and Winnipeg though about an hour closer to Regina. Our village's restaurant had the first steak pit in a restaurant in Canada. A steak pit is like big indoor barbecue where you grill your own steak that you purchase as part of the meal. Regular menu items are also available. Quiet pets would be permitted on a leash but you must pick up after them. We do have some fenced in dogs next door who might not enjoy other dogs. Lol Suggested Local Attractions: Some pretty town and memory gardens. Mountain bike trails just into Manitoba. Please note: we do not have a gas station in town. There is only a gas and diesel pump with a Co-op cardlock. If you need gas, it is best to fill up at Virden or Moosomin.

Location

Access Road Conditions: Access is from our back lane which we share with a small seniors home parking. Depending on the size of the rig, there is potential for tight turns to back in. Potential for branches depending on height of the rig. The picture shows our rv parked by our workshop but that is not its usual spot. This whole area between our sheds and workshop and the garden would be available to park. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: There is room where you park your rv - behind our workshop, beside our garden.

Enjoying the journey! Details: We love to travel whether by air, cruise or land! We own a Class B Pleasure-way, a long held dream, which we plan to use for sightseeing and service projects as we look towards retirement. We enjoy meeting people in all our travels. Our Christian faith is very important to us and my husband sings in a gospel quartet. We both enjoy a community choir and being involved in musicals. Home Town: Maryfield, Saskatchewan

Lovely, quiet overnight stop in the garden. Back in, level spot on gravel. We had an enjoyable evening chatting about all sorts of things. I needed to mail a postcard so they offered to take us on a walk to the postoffice nearby. A small, pretty town. We'll be back as my fingers are itching to do some work in Terry's workshop:) Thank you for the wonderful stay.

We loved our stay here. A nice quiet spot to park alongside the garden. And such welcoming hosts that made us feel right at home. They joined us for a nice walk around town followed by a tour of Terry’s shop. We then enjoyed a lovely visit along with great conversation on their deck. To top that off, we were treated to Caroline’s delicious dessert! Such an enjoyable evening with an amazing couple followed by a great nights sleep. We would definitely recommend a stop here and look forward to coming by again when we’re in the area.

I had planned to overnight at a tim hortons near highway 401. It was clearly too busy and hot to stay with the volume of traffic. I made my way to Marysfield and the location was pretty, the hosts were very kind and when i discovered an issue that could have left me stranded, they went out of their way to help me with a solution for which im eternally grateful. The spot itself was level and easy to get into. I appreciated the top up of my freshwater tanks and the power so I could keep my fur babies cool.
