Over 75 and retired but farm yard work and bookkeeping keep me busy. Details: We are a Christian family. The farm we live on has been in the family since 1880. My son lives in the original farmhouse (across the road) and runs the farm. He is also your host when I am gone. There is lots of open space, in a beautiful setting. Watch the sun rise or set or perhaps see the moon rising. You can park wherever you like: near the trees if you want shade, on the grass, if that is more to your liking, and some of that is even in the shade, or maybe you would prefer to be on the gravel. There is room for your pets to roam. We have a fire pit in our back yard that we would be willing to share (providing we have had rain). There is a house next door, but not too close and also houses across the road, but it is all our property. Have done some traveling and hope to do more. Have enjoyed meeting and visiting with other RV'ers who chose to Boondock here. We are close to hiking and biking trails; lakes and rivers for boating, canoeing, kayaking or fishing. Winter activities also abound. Groups are welcome to come and stay. I can host more than 5 RV's, but would not have electric and water hookups for everyone. You are also welcome to an extended stay if you'd like to visit the attractions in our area. If your "pets" are horses they too are welcome at our place. Home Town: Elk Mound, WI Favorite Boondocking Locations: At our friends and relatives! Hoping to get to stay at other Boondockers Welcome hosts in the near future, especially some whom have stayed here. Skills or Expertise to Share: As this is a working farm that has a large shop where we fix all our equipment we can usually be of some help in the area of mechanics. Maybe some one could teach me more computer skills.

I found myself needing an unexpected late evening place to camp. I messaged Country Space and Eileen graciously excepted my reservation. She greeted me when I arrived and helped me get situated. Eileen was so friendly, I will definitely return if ever the need ever arises in that area.

We enjoyed our stay with this host. Directions were very helpful and she provided information on the area. She greeted us when we arrived and showed us where to park. We enjoyed great conversations with her during our stay. We went to Pepin, WI during the day to the Laura Ingalls Wilder Museum and cabin. It was a great two days and if we are in the area agai, we would request to stay again.

Eileen is a great host. Had a wonderful time talking with her, and enjoying the serenity of her farm. 30A power was most appreciated, as was the fresh water tank refill top-off as we left. We will definitely stop again if in the area.
