Location

Access Road Conditions: Its a long packed level gravel driveway starts to slope upwards as it gets closer to our house. Next to our garage is a small field to park in. It is level in one spot that you back into. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: We have a long gravel driveway that leads into a small field. You would be pulling into the field turning left until RV is perpendicular to driveway and then back straight back up a slight incline until trailer is level. There is plenty of room to allow your tow vehicle to stay attached.

Love to play pickle ball, Ukulele, ride bikes and travel in our Escape 5.0 Details: My husband, Gary, and I live on 10 acres near Richmond, VA. I am a fitness instructor for the YMCA and Fitness Warriors of Richmond, VA. My husband is retired and was in computer sales for 30 years and loves all things mechanical and technical. In January of 2019 we purchased our first travel trailer. We drove from VA to Rice, TX to pick our new Casita up camping all the way home. We purchased an Escape 5.0 in October of 2021. Home Town: We live outside Ashland, VA. Which is a sleepy Mayberry type town 10 miles north of Richmond, VA. There is a railroad track running through downtown with big old houses lining the track. We are very convenient to I-95, and I-64. We are a 1 hour drive to Williamsburg, 2 hours from VA Beach, 2 hours from Washington DC, and 1.5 hours to Skyline Drive near Charlottesville, VA home of Thomas Jefferson.

Great location! Quiet, private, and level. Our hosts gave us several parking options. Timely communication and friendly conversation. A bit out of the way but that's what makes it so special. Water and electricity available too.

This was a nice, quiet location for the night. The hosts were communicative and the information about where to park made it easy to find a level spot to park. I knew they wouldn't be there when I arrived and didn't actually get to meet them in person before leaving the next morning. Still felt very welcome and comfortable.

This was a neat spot! Our host met us and helped us settle in to the spot. So welcoming and friendly! You're tucked back down a long drive, with no neighbors in sight. And the drive, property, and road leading in make for a great walk. Very quiet - definitely recommend!
