Located right smack in the middle, between the Pioneer Valley and the Berkshires. Please read the entire listing, it will answer most, if not all, of your questions. Thank you. Excellent broadband WiFi is available & included. I use AT&T for cell phone, and even though only two (sometimes one) bars, I have no problem with calls or texts. Also, Verizon tower located right in town. Other services… T-mobil, Cricket, etc., eh… Suggested Local Attractions:Nearby attractions include: 1. The Old Creamery Co-op (A combo grocery, deli, bakery, with a wide selection of fresh produce. Much of it local and organic. A variety of grocery staples, homemade bread and pastries, beer, wine, and a small selection of liquor. Located right here in Cummington. Collectively owned by 991 local individuals!!) 2. Mt. Greylock 3. Mass MOCA (Museum of Contemporary Art) 4. Village of Shelburne Falls 5. The Clark (art museum) 6. The Bryant Homestead 7. Norman Rockwell Museum … and a variety of hiking and biking trails; and plenty of just plain old peace and quiet!

Old adage: "After a few days, both fish and guests begin to stink." On the other hand, I have had guests stay for a month... so it's a "play it by ear" thing. No gens into the night, it's so quiet and peaceful here you won't want to anyhow! (Generator "off" hours: 8:00pm - 6:00am) I have two sites with 50/30/20A electric, water, and sewer (full hook-ups, and no need for electric adapters!). True boondocking is free, but if you choose a site with hook-ups there would be a fee. Responsible pet owners are welcome to bring their well behaved animals. Your pet can be off-leash, but there is no dedicated fenced-in area. "Responsible pet owners" pick up after their animals, don't leave them unattended, do not have to raise their voice to maintain control, etc. "Well behaved animals" don't nip at people or other animals, don't have annoying vocal habits, don't exhibit any other anti-social behaviors, etc.
Location
Access Road Conditions: GPS won't always give you the best route, I can do that when we speak. No "pull thru" but the site is open enough to make a y-turn and not have to unhook your trailer. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: Plenty of room for everything! If you are travelling with friends (i.e. multiple RVs) there is probably room for all, provided the additional ones will be truly boondocking. (Remember, only 2 sites have full hook-ups.)

Full-timer on a beautiful homestead. Details: Tall, dark, and handsome... well, one out of three isn't bad, is it? Hah! Art, music, travel, Indian, Harley, Triumph... if any of these words have value to you, we'll probably find something pleasant to talk about! ...and even if they don't, nice people attract like souls! Home Town: Cummington is a beautiful rural community (of 800) nestled in among the hilltowns of western Massachsetts. Favorite Boondocking Locations: Never met one I didn't like! Skills or Expertise to Share: Pretty handy.

My husband and I stayed at Michael's place for longer than we were planning and we just reaffirmed what all the other reviews here said - that he's the nicest host and just all around a great guy. His spots are leveled, has full hookups, free wifi, and in a convenient location in the Berkshires! Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

It rained from the time we arrived until about an hour before we left. We spent two nights sitting on a level concrete pad with 30amp. power. Michael communicated well, was a pleasure to visit with and knows RVing; he lives in his Class A onsite. This location is literally built for Boondocking, along with a couple of full hookup locations.

Michael was a great host, and the property was lovely. It was a short trip to explore the VT mountains for snowmobile trails, and a beautiful drive. I recommend this location highly!
