We are located 4 blocks away from the main Virginia Beach Oceanfront tourist strip (the map shows us in the wrong spot, we are at the oceanfront area). It's a quite location, except when the local Navy jet base is launching and landing their F-18's. They will fly right over the house when they come into land on certain runways. This is a biking community. It's within walking distance of all the attraction on the oceanfront strip.

House Rules
Cleanup after yourself. Don't make a lot of noise after 8:30 at night since others around us may have to work the following day. You are welcome to use the fire ring and use the yard area to relax and set out your chairs under the Oak tree in the shade. If you have a dog, keep control of them and cleanup after them. No generator use after 8:30 pm (we have a 115V outlet you can hook into for your fans and general items in your RV). Other than that, just relax and enjoy yourselves.
Location
You will need to back in to the spot from a main road on the side of the house and you can park your tow vehicle in front of your rig afterwards. There is no space for turn around, so you will need to back in.

Details: We are a couple that likes to get out into the outdoors in the hills walking the trails or on the beaches of lakes or ocean. plan to RV frequently soon. Home Town: We live in Virginia Beach Va. at the ocean front area. Favorite Boondocking Locations: Any where it is quite and peaceful. We absolutely enjoy our time in or around the water, and venturing in the mountains. Skills or Expertise to Share: I have handyman skills. I use to own a home improvement company until I started working for the government again.

Had a great 2 night stay. Location was perfect, just a few blocks off the beach in a quiet neighborhood. F18's flew over in the day, but the nights were quiet. Jamie was very helpful, I had mentioned we were looking to get our bikes serviced, and when we arrived he had a list of shops and a recommendation that was spot on. Would definitely stay again. Thank you !

This is our second stay at Cypress Place and it was another great stay. Great and friendly host, great location close to the ocean front. The host are very friendly and accomodating. They now seem like friends not just host. If you are headed to VA Beach we highly recommend.

This was our first Boondockers Welcome/Harvest Hosts stay and it was a great place to start! The communication from the hosts was outstanding and their hospitality was awesome, very welcoming and accommodating, even giving a recommendation for a local restaurant. The location was easy to find and access, and the electric hookup was super easy. All in all a very easy transition into the HH/BW program and a place that we'd love to request again in the future! Thank you so much!
