We are 5 miles from downtown Mountain View, AR on a state highway. There is almost always live music in town somewhere. After all, this is the Folk Music Capital of the World. Our host location is down by our barn with lots of shade. There is a chimenea beside the site and there also is a large firepit area with seating that can be used halfway between our house and the barn. We usually have firewood available. You will definitely want to ride around for a bit, cuz the scenery is awesome no matter which way you go around here. Suggested Local Attractions:Mountain View, AR is known as the Folk Music Capital of the World (courthouse is 5 miles from our house). Ozark Folk Center is 6.3 miles away. Blanchard Springs Caverns is 18 miles. The White River access is about 10 miles. Loco Ropes is out by the Folk Center. There are a couple of nice restaurants on the river about 10 miles. This is our second stay at D & J’s; they are excellent hosts, kind, generous and very hospitable. We can’t wait to visit them again with plenty of time to hang out. Their location for our Class B was easily accessible, 30A power and level ground to park.

Dennis and Jackie were welcoming and kind hosts. I feel like I made some nice new friends. I know I’ll be back for another adventure and see them again. I thoroughly enjoyed talking with them. Their place is beautiful and relaxing. p.s. I appreciated the electrical hookups.

This was our first Boondocker’s Welcome experience and it set the bar so high! Dennis and his wife have a beautiful property with plenty of space to relax and set up. Dennis made it a point to get out a bike for our boys and took our whole family around on a dirt bike excurison. We had such a wonderful time and loved the timr qe spent getting to know Dennis. This is a highlight of our time in Arkansas and i cant recommend this space enougg!

I thoroughly enjoyed parking under shade trees, seeing deer and a baby fox and getting to know two of the kindest people ever. We shared a meal together and shared many stories. The cute little town is just down the road and had a small city park where I walked my pup. I am full of gratitude for the break from the road and the heat!

Well, we are certainly spoiled for Harvest Hosts! Dennis & Jackie offer a lovely space with plenty of shade, electric and water and to top it off, their wi-fi reaches to the parking spot! They are very congenial hosts, and since they are long time campers, know what we are looking for in a spot to camp. The highway is noisy in the daytime, but has little traffic at night. We were there during a bad thunder and lightning storm and felt very safe tucked in at the barn. A lovely stay!
