Newly empty-nesters Details: We love our small hobby farm in NE Ohio - yes, we love the climate too! But now with four kids grown and gone we are happily taking advantage of the chance to travel. John and I are both veterinarians and we still work part-time as needed for various organizations. We enjoy history, politics, natural beauty of this world God has created. Home Town: John is from Mullan, ID and Kathleen is from San Antonio, TX and we both now call Hudson, OH home Favorite Boondocking Locations: We have used Harvest Hosts often and have enjoyed just about every one we have tried. In a pinch, we like Cracker Barrel, WalMart, Cabelas Skills or Expertise to Share: ummm... mostly science and veterinary medical related so not much use on the RV circuit

Even though the hosts were not home they allowed us to stay and were available. The large pad area was great and flat and the property was super well maintained…no mosquitoes , little or no noise…hats off to the hosts!

Hosts were welcoming and even had a map of the Cuyahoga park and surrounding area ready for us. Level concrete pad to park. Close to CVNP. Bonus puppy and kitty on premises.

We were super surprised by the towns and people of the Cuyahoga Valley. Our Boondockers Welcome hosts gave us easy access to the National Park and provided a safe and level spot for a quick overnighter. Thanks again!

My second time with this host; now that I am not such a newbie I really enjoyed how easy it was to access the location and the parking spot. There is a large level pad to park on with a lovely view of the yard. Friendly, welcoming hosts and they gave me a bit of info and map of the Cuyahoga Valley park system.

We were passing through on our way home from an emotional family visit with plans to stay in a Cracker Barrel parking lot. On a whim, we looked for a nearby host, and there was Daisy Creek. The hosts graciously accepted our last minute request to stay in their peaceful location. Warm, friendly and welcoming. We HIGHLY recommend!
