Paul is a DOT compliance consultant operating from a home office and a mobile office in the camper when traveling. He is a pretty unfocused guy with varied interests and ongoing projects. Since he almost finishes most things he starts, he has adopted the brand "Damneara" for his enterprises, Including Damneara Brewery, Damneara Airport, even named the onsite electric Gem Car "Damneara Tesla". Interested in meeting pilots, janitors, presidents, teachers, students....you get the idea. Not totally politically correct most times but pretty apolitical. Denise is newly retired from a career in power transmission and distribution. She is the hostess with the mostest and always asking what else do you need, or "can I feed you? She loves meeting new people and sitting by a campfire.

Paul and Denise were wonderful hosts from the delicious dinner, baby goats and great conversation, they are a must stop. We truly appreciate their hospitality and thank them from the bottom of our hearts. We will never forget this stop and hope to see them in Florida.

Denise invited me for dinner and shared her homemade, homegrown goodies. My little dog and I enjoyed feeding carrots to the goats and mules. Paul built a super fire for us to enjoy after dinner. One of the best!!!

This was a unique visit for sure. We have met a few friendly hosts before, but this couple goes above and beyond to welcome you and share everything they have to give. We were blown away by their generosity, openness, and the compassion they showed toward our toddler and dog. I don't know how they do it- always making themselves available, all the work they put in to spend quality time, feed folks, entertain, etc. I just hope that everyone knows that if it so happens that they can't be available to hangout or cant make a meal for you when you happen to show up, that they absolutely want to and would if they could. I imagine it would be hard to be fully available 24-7. They have the best intentions in sharing their incredible land, farm animals, and themselves with everyone they meet. We happened to be there when they were available and other guests too, and so we all had a wonderful night together sharing food and travel stories around a campfire. So blessed by this family and hope to visit again someday down the road...
