Located near interstate 4 and quick access to highway. Walmart, Home Depot, Publix, Carrabbas, Bonefish, Walgreens, everything you might need within 5 min. Camping world is 18 miles away. Suggested Local Attractions: Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, Tampa fairgrounds, Tampa RV Show, Gulf Beaches, Clearwater aquarium St Pete beaches , Bush Gardens and Sea World.

No RV units over 30 ft. No 5th wheels. Too heavy for our turf. No dually pick-ups. We live in a quiet area and ask for quiet outdoor music. ( Don’t want to disturb neighbors.) Everybody is friendly but we’d like to keep it that way. No… No s…..No running generators, no children , no large (20 lb max weight) or aggressive dogs. A small well behaved dog (under 20 lbs) is welcome. We recommend walking your dog in our fenced yard. Safety for your puppy. Also no dumping gray or black water on our property. We also ask that you don’t put RV rugs or mats on the grass. We work hard to keep the grass growing and looking nice for our guests. We have a stone patio next to the RV parking spot that you can enjoy and also a pergola next to the pool that you are welcome to use. Patio lights and garden area is pleasant and relaxing. We love our pets but pets must be on leash, however we have a fenced back garden where a small puppy is welcome to roam with owner supervision. We have 1 , 8 lb dog and 1 5 lb dog that are pretty social . If you can, check in before dark please. It is so much easier. We ask that our visitors who are leaving our place leave by 12:00 PM (noon). We ask those coming in to come after 2:00 pm. If we have no one in front of you, you are welcome to come earlier . Access Road Conditions: 30 ft max length on RV. No 5th wheel pick ups. Too heavy for our turf. City paved streets, plenty of turn radius. Dead end street with 1/2 acre yard. “Back in spot “ with 50 /30 amp service w/city water. We prefer you unhook unit and park your tow vehicle on paved drive unless you are here for an overnight. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: RV parking is on grass side yard with stone patio area for relaxation. Spot is fairly level. Plenty of paved parking room for tow vehicle. We would prefer you park tow vehicle on pavement unless you are only doing an overnight, “quick stop “. (Trying to keep grass growing). A 30 foot RV trailer or class A or C Or B unit plus tow car will work. No 5th wheels , dually or heavy commercial trucks because space is limited and weight is also a concern parking on grass. Details: Retired couple with beautiful pool / 1/2 acre yard and garden area willing to share with adult guests in Lakeland, Florida . 40 miles from Disney and 30 miles to Tampa. Gulf beaches 50 min away. Sorry, no children please as we try to keep a “low profile” in the neighborhood. We would welcome small (non aggressive) dogs as our dogs are older and a bit fragile. Home Town: We are originally from Indiana but have lived in Lakeland, Florida for 34 years. Skills or Expertise to Share: Owned several business over our working career and owned several RV s. We enjoy the attractions and all that Central Florida has to offer and can help you maneuver the “tourist “ areas. Also done photography work and video production for many years.

Dan & Cindy are amazing hosts. Dan has created a fantastic parking space complete with easy electric and water hookup. Their location is great for anyone visiting the beautiful city of Lakeland Florida. The neighborhood is very quiet and well maintained. Very little traffic because they are on a dead-end street. We will be back. Thank You !

Dan was a great host, he came out directed us in and spent time with us even though he was a bit under the weather. Turns out he is from a place not too far from our hometown. They have a great place, it really is a little paradise in the middle of a busy metropolitan area. We caught the Tigers opening day at the ball park and enjoyed their patio with morning coffee and listened to the birds singing.
