House Rules
This is a residential neighborhood... I have neighbors close by that can see you through the trees if they go looking. No smoking. No drugs of ANY kind to even be brought on my property. No partying or loudness including no loud music, quiet background music is fine during the day. Light drinking is fine but drunkenness will not be tolerated. No fireworks or firearms to be discharged. Quiet time 9pm to 7am. Generator use times = 9am -11am and 3pm - 5pm and there is a 30 minute at a time use limit per morning or afternoon session. Pets must be well behaved and controlled - absolutely no dogs prone to barking. Dogs must be on leash at all times and immediately brought inside if they bark. I have free ranging chickens that cannot be around loose dogs. If there is ever a loose dog you will be asked to leave.
Location
Access Road Conditions: Dirt road on my 2 acre wooded lot, sharp turn, trees you must be very careful of but easily done by a good driver that knows their rig. Nice location in the woods behind my house (lots of deer and turkeys). This is my work parking area where I have a small shop and keep my work trailers, and small amounts of supplies and metal and wood recycling for my masonry business. No pull through spot but a good driver can turn a 40' around, make no mistake though it's tight to turn a big RV around (only for the very experienced driver to do so) and you really won't want to back out because of the trees and sharp turn. Small RV's (sub 30') have plenty of room to spin around easily. My workers and myself will occasionally (not every day) be out back with pickup trucks during work hours (as early as 7am and as late as 9pm but that late is rare it's more like 6pm) but that doesn't cause any parking issues, plenty of space for us to drive around you. Not the most levelest of places, but not awful. You’ll pretty much be in the woods so, it can be a bit buggy out there around dusk and dawn, make sure to keep your screens shut and bring bug spray if you plan to hang outside at those hours. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: 40’ RVs or 40’ combined vehicle length is about maximum of what my area will allow. Trailers longer than 22’ will be too tight to turn around.

Our stay at Deer Land was very comfortable and relaxing. We were serenaded in the morning by a handsome rooster and Jeff generously offered fresh eggs from his “gaggle” of chickens. We definitely will return to this great Boondockers location.

The property is wooded and beautiful, and our host was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed watching his flock of chickens parade in the evening!

Deer land accepted our request on short notice and was present when we arrived to provide guidance and help us with hookups. Real friendly host, would love to have had more time to spend with him and his two awesome boys and enjoy more conversation. The property is relatively secluded, heavily wooded with chickens and wildlife. We are so appreciative of such a helpful and hospitable host.

We enjoyed a nice, quiet evening. Jwcomanpies was awesome, friendly and very accommodating. Helped us get set up, let the kids play on the playground and even had a fire that he said could enjoy! Highly recommend!

Our request to stay at Deer Land was made one day prior to our intended overnight. Our host responded promptly. We arrived after dark and we were unsure about the exact location of the site. We were able to call the host and he guided us to his site. The site is wooded and we experienced a quiet night. The site was suitable for our overnight stay while visiting the area, We would like to thank our host for making the site available and would stay there again.
