We have 5 plus acres about 30 minutes north of Pittsburgh PA. The Pittsburgh area has many different ethnic neighborhoods to explore. Close to Moraine State Park and McConnells Mills Park. Both parks have hiking, Moraine has a nice bike trail. GPS will tell you to turn onto Sturbridge , our driveway is right after or right before it, depending on which direction you arrive from. There is a split rail fence with a wooden sign with 770 on it, we are at the top of the hill. We can accommodate 2 RV’s, we only have 1 electric hookup

Location
There are two options for parking. If you want electric, you will go to the left at the top of the hill. This is the easiest option for large vehicles. To park so you are more secluded, go straight at the top of the hill. Regardless of which option, you will need to back up to leave. Tow vehicle can be left attached. If your rig is other than a van and you want secluded option, you will have to back down the hill a little to be able to pull forward to the left in order to go down the drive. While we can accommodate 2 RV’s, we only have 1 electric hookup

Randy and I love to visit the national parks as well as the less visited areas of the country. Our favorite park so far is Glacier. We travel with our cat DeOgee and our dog Wylie. Being outdoors to hike, bike, float, etc. is what our trips consist of, we typically avoid cities and do not like touristy places We both like to be active and are considering volunteering at parks to help us keep busy. We like to meet new people and learn of their adventures and insights. We both like to keep busy working on projects with our hands and minds. Randy works with wood and tinkers with anything but electricity and I like to create glass projects and other artsy things

Randy and Lisa were a lot of fun and we really enjoyed them. The site was just what we needed for the night and having electric was a real bonus. Communication was very good once I figured out I needed my data on to get their messages. Now that we know how to navigate those Pittsburg hills we hope we are able to stay there again. Lovely level spot with lots of turnaround room. Thanks guys.

This was our 1st time using the HH/BW app and we were so happy with our 1st hosts! Lisa was great with quick approval and communcation for this last min booking. We were tired and wanted to cut our planned trip short for some rest and the hosts quickly got back to us letting us know it would work for them as well! They gave excellent directions and were in the driveway waiting to help us get settled when we arrived. They were very relaxed about the particulars of parking, making it very easy upon arrival. We shared travel experiences and tips/tricks and some good stories and laughs! Power and water hook up was an awesome bonus. Lisa and Randy were super friendly, if we hadn’t been so tired from traveling we would have chatted for hours with them. Their property is beautiful and quiet. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone passing by! Lisa and Randy- Thanks for the great 1st experience using this community app!

Lisa and Randy were terrific hosts. communicating with us before and during our stay to make certain we were comfortable and sharing stories about travels and family. The property is beautiful , amongst the trees and situated on a bit of a hill , with ample space to get our 35' coach in and turned around to leave. Thank you for hosting us!

Their house is located in a beautiful area surrounded by trees. We were a bit concerned when we saw a narrow road leading up to the home but don’t worry there is plenty of room at the house to turn around. We enjoyed visiting with our host who were very welcoming and helpful. We only stayed one night but we would definitely stay there again if we came back this way.
