We have 5 plus acres about 30 minutes north of Pittsburgh PA. The Pittsburgh area has many different ethnic neighborhoods to explore. Close to Moraine State Park and McConnells Mills Park. Both parks have hiking, Moraine has a nice bike trail. GPS will tell you to turn onto Sturbridge , our driveway is right after or right before it, depending on which direction you arrive from. There is a split rail fence with a wooden sign with 770 on it, we are at the top of the hill. We can accommodate 2 RV’s, 1 with 30 amp, 1 with 110. We are always outside, as is our dog. Parking is by the workshop so we are always around

Randy and I love to visit the national parks as well as the less visited areas of the country. Our favorite park so far is Glacier. We travel with our cat DeOgee and our dog Wylie. Being outdoors to hike, bike, float, etc. is what our trips consist of, we typically avoid cities and do not like touristy places We both like to be active and are considering volunteering at parks to help us keep busy. We like to meet new people and learn of their adventures and insights. We both like to keep busy working on projects with our hands and minds. Randy works with wood and tinkers with anything but electricity and I like to create glass projects and other artsy things. We usually travel with our cat, DeOgee and our dog, Wylie

This was our "maiden voyage" with our RV and with Boondockers. Such a pleasant experience. The grounds are beautiful and quiet. The hosts are friendly and engaging. This stop is definitely on our must repeat list!

Solo, full-time traveler. I stayed in late May 2023 in my 23 ft Class C MH. Weather perfect, sunny not too hot. I requested to stay for one night based on location and the reviews of previous guests. I was not dissappointed and requested, and stayed another two nights. Level gravel parking, 30 Amp power available - and a great friendly dog. Lovely wooded grounds, north of Pittsburgh! Quiet, lit but not brightly, and so a good night's restful sleep. Communications were great with the very friendly husband and wife hosts who are RVers themselves. If in the area again I would most definitely request to stay again.

This is a great little country spot with shade. Hosts Randy and Linda are friendly and helpful. Their property is lovely. Gravel pad is extra wide with plenty of room for you and a neighboring RVer. Our 38 foot travel trailer took the length of the pad but there is plenty of space to park your tow vehicle or toad, hooked or unhooked. A little air traffic but nothing disturbing. Seems to be a firing range nearby, they started at around 9 AM and went most of the day. Pro tip: if you have a big rig travel trailer you need to pull all the way to the left at top of driveway and pull forward all the way to host garage. Then you will need to back in using several point turns. Total length of our TV plus TT Is about 60 feet. If you do not prefer a big rig back up challenge you might consider another host. At first it seemed impossible 😁. It really was excellent practice! Definitely good for even a large motor RV or travel trailer 30ft or smaller.

Our hosts, Lisa and Randy, transitioned from hosts to friends in no time. We enjoyed many conversations and happy hour(s) with each other exchanging stories. If they aren’t travelling in their beautiful rv, and you get an opportunity to stay here, I’m sure you will not regret it. There is ample room to manoeuvre and park on a level surface, and enjoy the peace and quiet. Thanks for the great stay!!

I don't know what I was expecting when traveling to Pittsburgh - it's hilly and the narrow roads surprised me a bit. But the hosts help make that a bit easier giving us alternative routes to get to and from the highway without the massive number of stop lights. We had a good stay. We did end up leaving earlier because our dog was overstimulated by all the activity. They are extremely nice hosts and have a gorgeous, flat space to park.
