Sturgeon Bay is located on the Door Peninsula. It is a very popular tourist location all year long but particularly in the summer. There are many parks (5 beautiful state parks, many county and city parks), great natural features, unique shopping, fine dining, 11 golf courses, hiking, biking, light house tours, art galleries and museums and live music and theaters. Lake Michigan literally surrounds the entire County. It is a fishing and boating destination. My property is very convenient to amenities in Sturgeon Bay (local super market and WalMart about 3/4 mile). Suggested Local Attractions:Cave Point County Park, Light Houses, parks (many city, county and 5 Wisconsin state parks), beaches, many wineries, breweries, great restaurants and a working waterfront. I was born and raised here and after being gone for most of my adult life the natural beauty brought me back. There's lots for families to do. Green Bay and Lambeau Field is less than an hour south.

No smoking on property. No generators after 9 pm. Maximum 2 adult guests per visit; no children under 18.
Location
Access Road Conditions: Paved city road to driveway with 2/3 of driveway paved. The turning radius is not sharp so most vehicles should have easy access. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: I have a driveway with 2 entries (horseshoe) and plenty of room to park.

Details: An ever changing bucket list includes travelling, gardening, reading, cooking, crafting in a She Shed, walking the dog, watching movies/Netflix and spending time with nearby family (who stop in often) and friends. Home Town: Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin Favorite Boondocking Locations: To be determined. Skills or Expertise to Share: Lifetime of learned skills, some through hard knocks, others through experiences. Trading stories is a must; operating chainsaws is a bonus😱.

The spot has plenty of room with a convenient circular drive so you can drive right through. We had a warm welcome and nice conversation. Very accommodating!

We enjoyed spending two nights courtesy of this wonderful host. The grounds are lovely with shade trees and the sound of nature and the parking spot we had was very level. We had engaging conversations on several occasions and she pointed out various points of interest in the surrounding areas. Definitely one of our top favorite hosts for Boondockers Welcome!

This place is a Dream! Great communication by host. Easy to set up and get level. Different spots to choose from. The property is beautiful, quiet, secluded. The little bit we did get to enjoy the property and the host's time....awesome! Door County was an unplanned trip. Those are some of the best!
