We loved staying on Doug and Laurie’s beautiful property! We had several camp spot options and chose a flat site in the trees in the shadow of Mt Massive !! Their place was easy to find with the good directions on the HH site, plus they texted us to make sure we could find it ! we were greeted upon arrival and felt so welcome ! Its close to town with the feeling of being so much farther away! the Leadville area is full of trails for hiking and mountain biking. One of our hikes was to Mayflower Gulch which is an old mining ghost town with spectacular views ! we also took the train and viewed the beautiful Fall colors ! Thank you again, Doug and Laurie for your hospitality!!!! and hope to see you again in 2023 !!

I am a little late in writing this review. This property was such a treat for our summer 2022 stay. Doug was super cool and shared great information on local trails. Our stay was peaceful and the views were incredible. Thank you for a great stay, we hope to be back soon.

Easy communication, beautiful scenery, cool dog and great people. I was lucky enough to have a bit of time with them one evening, and they found the reason I was in Leadville and went over and above to help me get these items. Highly recommend.
