Parking is on our driveway. We are located on a residential street very close to the Detroit River and about 3 miles to I-75. Downtown Detroit is about 15 minutes away as is The Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village. We have train tracks about 100 yards away from the parking spot. We are willing to host somebody for up to 5 nights, but I cannot change my profile to reflect this.

I reached out to Wanda & Mike a while back because I needed a place to stay near my parents for when my father passed away. I didn’t know a date but they were very gracious in letting me know that I could have a spot when I needed it. They offered a 15a plug which helped as Winter Storm Elliot came to town & I needed heat! I highly recommend their place, easy access, right off the main road & gracious hosts. Would stay here again without hesitation.

Great chatting with Wanda and checking out the beautiful backyard. It was a rainy day but checked out Detroit and hung at a riverside park when the sun broke. Thanks for your hospitality!!

Very friendly and accommodating hosts; gave us a tour of their natural yard and gardens, and provided an extension cord for 15 amp electric. Their house is on a charming street, driveway is around the back on a side street. The beautiful Detroit River is an easy walk a few blocks away, and the occasional horns from nearby trains lent an authenticity, but were silent during late night sleep. We would stay again when we are in the Detroit area.

We had a great stay at Downriver Digs. Our hosts, Wanda and Mike, were welcoming, friendly and helpful. The use of their electricity and water was appreciated. Downriver Digs was an excellent location to explore Detroit as it is only a 15 minute drive to the city. We also visited the Henry Ford Museum which was just 20 minutes away. We really enjoyed our time at Downriver Digs and the Detroit area.
