You can also walk or bike a very nice seven kilometre trail to downtown Parksville where you can find beautiful sandy beaches for the whole family including the dog. Qualicum Beach is about an eight kilometre drive to a very nice community with a lot of small shops and restaurants worth visiting. Suggested Local Attractions:This whole island is an outdoor paradise whether you want to walk, hike , mountain bike, golf, fish, four wheel drive or ATV. It's all easy access to explore. Location
Access Road Conditions: There is paved road to our acreage and gravel on the acreage. We can only accommodate up to a 30 ft pull trailer or a 36 ft 5th wheel due to the access off roadway. Both of these lengths will have to do some maneuvering to get from the paved road over a 20 foot wide culvert onto the driveway. This is a sharp turn. Once on the property there is lots of room to maneuver. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: We have two and a half flat acres with easy turn around and parking for any size RV, but due to access, limitations on RV length apply. You can park on the front part of the acreage or completely fenced in on the back part of the acreage. The tow vehicle can be left with the rig, or parked separately.

We had a very enjoyable two nights stay at Dusty Acres. The property is quite lovely and it's a perfect place mid Island to spend a night or two. Kevin, Sandra and Dean were very gracious and friendly, and our stay was made even more delightful by Portia! I very much enjoyed my morning coffee chatting with Kevin, and hope to see them at our place in Comox! Thank you!

Sandra, Kevin & Dean were gracious hosts. Sandra helped us to pick the perfect spot which enabled us to enjoy the best view of Mt. Arrowsmith...on their gorgeous property. Portia is an absolute gem of a dog...extremely well mannered. We look forward to staying there in the future.

Kevin, Sandra, Dean and their dog, Porsche were so welcoming throughout our stay. Their property is lovely and the area we parked was level with access to power and beautiful views of the mountains, sunrise and sunset! Kevin and Sandra were very helpful with suggestions, directions, etc. We rode our bikes to the famous Goats on the Roof Old Country Store, Parksville and Qualicum Beach. It's a beautiful area with lots to explore. We had a fantastic stay!!

Sandra and Kev are very good host and will go out of their way to make you feel confortable. Don’t know what to see or visit next? Just ask them! They know all the cool and good spot around and loves to share. They have an amazing property, with a lovely backyard where you will enjoy a beautiful view of the mountain and nice pink colored sky at sunset.

We stayed here for 2 nights while visiting Parksville and Qualicum Beach. Sandra and Kevin were really helpful showing us the best things to do around. Their backyard is awesome with views of Mount Arrowsmith and their lovely dog Porsha. Coming back from Tofino, we stayed another night and Kevin and Sandra took us to the market of Parksville which was great. Clearly one of the best experiences of boondocking we’ve had. Thank you again for the stays! :)
