We have 1.4 acres right on the west side of Mannville just off TransCanada Highway 16. All paved to our home. Mannville is always on the way to somewhere whether it's west to Jasper, north to Athabasca, south to Drumheller or east to Saskatchewan and you're welcome to come rest here while on your way to wherever it is you're going. There is an RV dump station with potable water 2 and a 1/2 blocks from where we live. It is usually open until the end of September. For amenities, we have a grocery store, convenience store, fuel station and two repair shops in town. Manville has one of the best known golf courses just 2 km north of town in the river valley. We do live near the train tracks so it is common to hear the trains which may annoy some. Our on the edge of town acreage is newly developed and still a work in progress and still under construction on the west side. It was an old farm yard 40 to 50 years ago and better and was the site of a flower mill almost a hundred years ago. We had planned on planting an orchard. As we've been developing it and cleaning out the rotten dead fall we have accidentally found that it was indeed an orchard at one time. We have Saskatoon trees sprouting throughout as well as rows of strawberries, raspberries and wild rose bushes starting to come in.

The RV parking areas can be tricky to get into depending on your experience or skill trying to navigate around the trees you will have to back into the parking stalls or campsites. We are what we call Back 40 rv'rs. We love the Boondocking life although we'll rv just about anywhere we can. Our rv is our mobile cabin/cottage just like everyone else's. We're completely self sufficient and run a quiet generator when needed. We've become Boondockers Welcome hosts as well and we're happy to share a little piece of our little acreage that's still a work in progress with others like us.

We did not have the chance to meet the owner. The parking was quiet and wooded. We had to look at the picture to see where to park. The is 3 places for RV.
