outdoor adventurer Details: We are retired dairy farmers. We enjoy bicycling, we ride a tamdem bicycle and have 3 wheeled recumbent bicycles and mountain biking. We enjoy dancing including square dancing. Camping and traveling , where we meet new people. We have been camping for many years and always look for bicycle trails everywhere we go. Home Town: Our home is near Bainbridge, NY We have 15 acres, mostly wooded. We built this home after we sold our farm and is part of the original farm property. We also have a home in Florida, we spend about 5 months there during the winter. Favorite Boondocking Locations: We enjoyed boondocking at many locations throughout the US and Canada Skills or Expertise to Share: We built our home in Bainbridge ourselves out of lumber from our farm. Also, did all the wiring, plumbing, etc. Repairs on the farm were also done by us.

Well, I missed the driveway initially so I called Gordon and he got me turned around easily enough. The site was great...level, spacious, easy to get situated. I would stay here again if I was in the area.

Gordon and Marie greeted us when we arrived, and showed us where to park where it was level. They invited us to the campfire that night, but Mother Nature had other plans, and it was cancelled. If ever in the area again, we would gladly stay again.

Finding their lane was a little bit of a challenge, but entry was easy once found. Big open area to turn around and park. We didn't have to unhook our toad. Very peaceful. They invited us to their family campfire, but we were too tired and declined. I believe I witnessed them training their dog sled dogs in the morning. They had a team of dogs pulling a 4-wheeler around. That was fascinating. We would definitely stay again if in the area.

We arrived early afternoon to try to beat some rain. Gordon met us and visited with us a while then showed us a nice level site to park. We were the only guests that night so it was very quiet. Thanks for the stay.
