We live in a older neighborhood, our house is the original "Farm House" that was built in the 40's .... the farmer sold out to a developer in the 60's and thats when most of the neighborhood was built... we have a 'Root cellar" AKA Basement which is perfect for my "Wine Cellar", and because of the basement the developer opted not move the house up to the street like all the new homes so that is why we have a very long driveway, a few years back we built a 3 car garage up close to the street so it looks like the rest of the neighborhood as your driving up our street. We are very close ...Walking distance to a park and community pool and Kaiser hospital, Winco Grocery store or a Safeway and CVS and the Movie theaters as well, Suggested Local Attractions:Sacramento is the state Capitol and we are only 20 min to down town and Old Sacramento on the river. We are very close ...Walking distance to a park and community pool and Kaiser hospital, Winco Grocery store or a Safeway and CVS and the Movie theaters as well,

Malena and her husband were so welcoming! Kindest hosts we’ve had yet. They have a beautiful space, and even provided tools so our 2-year old could dig in the garden. And if you visit Sacramento, Faria Bakery is not to be missed!

Felt like a visit to our cool aunts house. I can’t say enough about how warm and welcoming our host and her hubby are. They went above and beyond to make us feel at home- including wine and a delicious dinner :) We were so sad to leave but so happy we have a few little gifts from our host to remember this awesome stay. Thank you so so much!! We can’t wait to see them again maybe on the east coast next time!

Staying at the Farm house in the city was such a nice reprieve after a long day on the road. Our hosts were gracious and welcoming. We shared a cocktail on their patio, swapped stories around their fire pit and enjoyed a delicious meal with them. We didn’t just boondock, we definitely made new travel friends. Can’t wait to meet you on the road for a joint camping expedition M & N!! Thank you so much for your hospitality.
