...the Musicbugs are a wonderful, welcoming couple, with a beautiful home, property, and quiet, restful place to park your RV. Maizy their cat and Springer our dog got along swimmingly, (inside joke). They shared a dinner with us, and everything was homemade from their garden, down to the mustard, catchup, and dressing. It was so good and so was our time there. Our truck had an issue requiring two days in the shop, at the time we didn’t know how long and the Musicbugs offered us to stay as long as we needed. It started to feel like home, not because of the length of the stay but because of the welcoming nature of Mr. and Ms. Musicbug. If you are pulling a large RV call ahead for instructions. You will be backing into a driveway. We have a 42’ 5th Wheel, 13’6” tall, 58’ with our truck and we backed her in there. Mr. Musicbug is an excellent communicator. When I gave him measurements, he measured the trees and powerlines just to make sure there wouldn’t be an issue. We chose Fermata as it was one of the closer rural locations to Detroit, about a 50-minute drive to the Henry Ford and DIA museums. To our surprise Chelsea, a five-minute drive, is a beautiful little town with downtown walks and plenty of shops. Definitely make a point to visit the Welcoming Crow, we did, three times. It’s that good. There is also the Jiffy plant. Normally they offer tours, just not during Covid restrictions. Thank you for such a wonderful stay. Not only would we come again, you will always have an open door at our home. The Wandering Travelers.
