Church Parking Lot with 12 acres of land. There are places to park near the building with water & electric or places away from building near a fire ring & woods. We basically own everything inside the triangle of the road that angles across the back of the property. It is normally pretty quiet here. PLEASE NOTE: We do have neighbors across the road behind us, when camping in that area please camp respecting their property and privacy. (I had one BDW camper that set up chairs looking directly at their front door and it worried them a bit.) Near: Griffin, Hampton, & Locust Grove Relatively Near i75, about 15 minutes. I'd be happy to direct you to anything you are looking for.

I love life, people, exploring and adventure. RV life is perfect for me. My favorite hobbies are snowboarding & photography. I have lived in McDonough all my life. Life's been good here, but I have always had the desire to be on the road exploring new places. I have been able to travel quite a bit and I am always ready to go RVing. Favorite Boondocking Locations: Anywhere I open the sliding door of my van and see nothing but beautiful nature... the blueridge parkway was pretty spectacular. Skills or Expertise to Share: Jack of all trades master of none. I have a degree in communication and use it daily. I dabble in photo/video world. I have wood working skills. I've made a repair or two. I do have tools you could borrow for most jobs.

Carey was fantastic with his communication, lightning fast He was also very accommodating and allowed us to choose where we could park. We arrived after dark and parked behind the church; it was quiet and safe. Another parking option was under a level and well lit awning. We wish we could have had the opportunity to thank him in person or stay for Sunday worship. This is a great option for those looking for a day or two of rest when traveling.

Our host was easy to text with and offered his assistance on our arrival (not needed because connecting to power was so easy). Directions were super easy to follow! Great host, great location!! Many thanks.

We arrived a few days after a severe tornado went through the area so Cary spoke to us on the phone to give us specific directions to get there so that we wouldn't run into any downed power lines or closed roads. We have a 45' 5th wheel with dolly on the back so we need quite a bit of room to turn around. Cary told use which entrance to use (there are 3) so that we could easily turn around to face out to the road to leave in the morning. We had access to 15amp power and water. The youth pastor of the church lives next door so if we had any questions, he was available. This spot was superb! It was quiet and very safe and in a beautiful location for a peaceful and safe overnight stay! Thank you so much Cary for your help in making our stay so nice! We hope to be back! Kathy and Darrell

Easy to find. Paved parking lot with 15 amp. Saw lots of tornado damage from the previous week, but all roads were open.

We were on our way to FL and needed a safe overnight stay to shorten the long drive. Cary was very pleasant and efficient in accommodating us. We did not get to meet him in person, but he made himself available to answer any questions. This site as easy to find and located conveniently off the interstate. We felt safe and got a good night's rest.
