We have a great location for the outdoor enthusiast. One RV spot has more privacy than the other. We have dogs, horses, goats and geese, so it is not always quite. We have a good place to part a RV up by our barn that is not a pull through but is realitively flat, has water and electricity. We will have a 50 and 30 amp plug this summer 2021, but we do have 15 amp available now. We have another RV spot that is back in only but with plenty of room to manuver a 40 foot RV easily, with water and 15 amp service. This spot is directly across from the main home and is not private. Our RV can level itself easily here. Niether RV parking area is graveled. Suggested Local Attractions:We are home to the Colville national forest which hosts many activities from motorized to non motorized biking/ATV/ORV, hiking and backpacking, back country horse back riding, snowshoeing, skiing, snowmobilling, alping lakes for kayaking, floating swimming and fishing. Wonderful wildlife viewing including birds. Curlew lake is less than a mile away to Curlew state park. Has a boat ramp and swimming area as well as docks to fish off of. No limit on perch, has tourt, bass and tiger muskee. Ferry county Rail Trail is a maintained gravel path for non-motorized enjoyment. This flat trail is 26 miles long, one way, and ends up by the Canadian border. Half of our county is the Colville Indian reservation that offers more opportunities as well. The county seat, Republic, is less than 8 miles away where Washington states only public fossil digging site is located, Stonerose. This is a great way to spend they day, visitors can keep 3 fossils each. We have an award winning brewery, Republic Brewery. We are not so much of a shopping mecca, but we do have great local artisans. Some of the best fly fishing around on the Kettle river and the San Poil river. Horseback ride availabele at the beautiful K Diamond K guest ranch. And of course, the entire county is full of breath taking views that will make even a novice photographer look like a pro. Dark skys are full of stars and the milky way.

Since the last reviews were a year ago. I thought I would update. I too wanted to stay. I contacted the hosts with no reply. I wish there was a way to remove listing if they are no longer active.

Agree with last Review…no response from host with pending request and HH app messages. Maybe BW/HH could contact and remove this host if they no longer wish to participate?

Use caution if planning stay here. Only HH in area and we had to make alternate plans because no response from host and no way to contact. Since other references are 10+ months old, perhaps host is no longer active??

Our host met us at the bottom of their drive to make sure we got the spot with the most shade, as it was very hot. Loved all the animals and the interaction with the horses. Thank you Awinnkel2 for the time you spent introducing us to all your delightful animals. Lovely area, but as they state in their description, it is a dusty wash board road to get to their place, and a little off the beaten path.

Couldn’t have asked for a better stay. One of my favorite so far. Beautiful views and plenty of room to roam. Loved seeing all the animals and learning about the area. Hosts were gracious and kind and enjoyed chatting one night. Would stay again.
