This is 1.19 acres of raw desert land. There is a dirt road to the property and it is very rough, so please camp at your own risk! This will be best for overlanders or people who tow a lifted off-road camper. From what I understand there is another campground south of me and several reviews have stated their campers bottomed out. If you are still interested I can give you the GPS location and the 3 route options to get to the property. There is an N road (county non-maintained road) as this is an old subdivision that went bankrupt years ago when old Route 66 ended and 40 was put in. All of the jobs left town so it never developed. If you bring your atv’s and off road bikes you can ride right into the Petrified National Park from your campsite! Please pay attention to local fire regulations. There is no water and no electricity. This is RAW BARE LAND. Pack in/pack out and leave no trace and no cigarette butts, bottles cans or garbage please. As an investigator for many years I don’t wanna have to work when I get there. 🕵️‍♀️ Distances: · To The Petrified Forest National Park: Minutes! · To Holbrook, Arizona: 20 Minutes · To Sitgreaves National Park: 1 hour · To Canyon de Chelly: 1 hour · To Flagstaff, Arizona: 1 1/2 hours · To Coconino National Forest: 2 hours · To Sunrise Ski Resort: 2 hours · To Grand Canyon: 3 hours · To Albuquerque, New Mexico: 3 hours

Location

It’s 1.19 acres so, if you can get there safely then go for it. I’m not responsible for any damage to your vehicles or camping equipment or you personally. There will be wild animals and some not so friendly, so please keep your animals leashed for their own protection and don’t leave food or garbage exposed EVER. There are also roaming grazing cattle. Just make sure to stay within the parameters of the gps location I send you as the lots on either side have been sold to friends of mine.

Originally from MS, I’m a nomad professional investigator and also marketing manager and biz dev coordinator for my employer. I own land in AZ and MS but travel too much for work to stay in either location. My rig is a 2023 6x12 custom cargo trailer conversion and I use shore power, a solar generator, or propane generator when allowed. I used to have a 40’ Prevost with two slides but it was just too much for me. I started rv’ing back in 2001 when my ex husband was playing golf on the tour. I’ve enjoyed camping and hiking for my entire life due to being a Brownie and Girl Scout. I have two cats that have their own cat condo and the litter robot, needless to say they are spoiled and I am rv’ing so I don’t have to leave them on work trips. I also have my service dog Penny. She is a specially trained deep pressure therapy PSD and she’s a sweetheart but getting up in age (9) and can’t go on long hikes anymore. I’m a trained Chef, so if you’re wanting a good meal let’s have some fun and do dinner when I visit! You buy it and I’ll cook it haha!
