Retired, love to meet new friends and love to travel Details: Retired in 2012 and have been on the road since. Planes, trains, boats, car and rv any form of transportation that will get us somewhere new is great. We are new to the RV lifestyle but have enjoyed our trips so far. We have a 2005 27' Forest River Lexington bought on ebay sight unseen with our fingers crossed. It has turned out amazing, only 6,000 original miles and we have put 10,000 on it in less than two years. Steve is retired from Civil Service after spending his last 13 years at the United States Air Force Academy. I retired from Procter and Gamble n 2006 after 12 years to enjoy my grandchildren and successfully fight breast cancer. We have seen mid-America, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, and Florida to California in our motor home. We are looking forward to many more adventures.

Although it's been a while and we are already back home I love remember the time we stayed at the Foothill overlook. Were there for 3 nights, the hook up went very well, communication was great. They are such lovely and kind people, we had good conversations and our little one loved to play with them. They offered us watermelon and ice-cream and were so welcoming. Felt so home! Thank you for everything and I hope we see each other again!!

Great place to stay if visiting the Colorado Springs area! Hosts couldn’t have been nicer! Provided lots of helpful hints regarding the area. We were made to feel right at home! If in the area again would definitely look to stay there again!

What an amazing couple and I’ve met some some great ones, kind, considerate, generous, and friendly to mention only a few things, I wish we lived closer to them so we could see them frequently. I was a little down when we drove away to be honest, Steve and Susan made our lives better just having spent time with them, if for no other reason than to see them again we’ll be back to the area. God bless them.
