Because we are in the forest, we have to abide by fire restrictions in the summer. Dogs must be on leashes as we have a dog that joins us outside without leash, she is a very friendly lab that loves to play. Checkout is mid-day or.later if no follow-up guests arriving that day Please pack-out all you bring with you. We don't have extra garbage service.
Location
We have a large circular driveway, to make it easy for backing into the camp spot. Plenty of room for TOADs too. Note that if GPS has you turn off main highway on dirt road it is wrong. Please call if it does.

We are retired and have our lab Molly who makes most RV trips with us. She like us don't know any strangers, just friends we haven't met before. Dale is a retired custom home builder and I am a retired Facilities manager in the Healthcare field. We host 10 acres nestled with BLM forest in Central Oregon. 75 miles from Crater Lake, lots of mountains and lakes to enjoy.

A great place to stay at. We were given excellent instructions to the site. Follow them rather than any GPS type devices as it is a ways off the beaten path. All asphalt roads until the last couple hundred yards on a good gravel road. Berni and Dale met us as we were setting up. Really nice folks to chat with plus we got to meet Molly too. The site was a back in off a circular loop. It was quite level and I didn't have to use any leveling blocks. Water and a 50 amp outlet were right there on a post. It was very peaceful and dark at night, no doubt the milky way was out but we had cloud cover that night. We travel Highway 97 frequently and if the timing works out we hope we can stay overnight here again on our next trip.

I would recommend this stay for anyone passing through this area of Oregon. Beautiful location!! Berni and Dale are very friendly. Berni commucated precise directions. They were not home at my arrival but site is marked very well. Full hook-up provide so you are very spoiled. Property borders BLM land so plenty of area to explore on bike or foot.

Bernie was a gracious and helpful host. She gave us detailed information on how to get to her beautiful home. The place her and her husband layed out for us yo stay was so charming and beautiful. Daffodils, huge fire pit, homemade pine bench. Walking paths, entrence and exit sighs, power and water. Pull through and to top it all off she had just had back surgery that week and she still met us upon our arrival, walking sticks in hand. Will be staying here again on our way to California.
