This is a 6- acre wooded lot with a large pond so you will not be close to the neighbors. Pets are welcome if you keep them from running loose. Please clean up after them, or make sure they do their business in the woods - which are plentiful! Please contact me for more information. Fresh water is also available to refill your tanks and 15-amp electric can be made available. Suggested Local Attractions:Downtown Cleveland is only 25 minutes away - home of the 2nd largest live theater district in the country, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the Great Lakes Science Center- including the NASA Glenn Visitor Center, sports events - Cleveland Guardians, Cavaliers, Browns Stadium, and University Circle - including the Art Museum, Natural History Museum, Modern Art Museum, Severance Hall (Cleveland Orchestra's home), Crawford Aviation and Auto Museum. About 1 hour away is Cedar Point Amusement Park, the Lake Erie Islands Ferries - to go to Put-in-Bay, etc. and great boating/Lake Erie fishing and swimming.

House Rules
If you smoke, please DO NOT THROW BUTTS on the ground - place them in your garbage. Please leave the driveway clear so people can drive in and out at any time. Since you are parking near the house, please keep music and conversations low since there is a bedroom upstairs over the garage. Clean up any doggie do-do and throw into the woods. Please do not throw any plastic bags or trash in my BROWN recycling can (we can only recycle #1 & #2 plastic, glass, aluminum and steel cans, paper and cardboard). Feel free to throw your TRASH IN THE BLUE CONTAINER at the end of the driveway.
Location
Access Road Conditions: Easy access from Ohio Turnpike, Interstates 80, 90, 71 and 480. All paved roads and paved, level driveway. Entrance to drive has a drainage ditch under the driveway, so it is important to stay on the pavement. Driveway is 12' wide. Check with me on the parking situation to determine what is available for you to use. Be careful to NOT go off the concrete driveway since it is often very wet and soft and you'll sink in mud and destroy the grass. We can only accommodate Class B and C vehicles without a tow vehicle - no trailers are allowed due to the difficulty people have had backing up my driveway.

Retired Aerospace Engineer Details: After working for NASA for 37 years, I'm now my "own boss" and spend time in the Portland, Oregon, Florida, North Carolina, and Cleveland, OH areas. I enjoy RVing and have a 21-foot Four Winds 5000. I enjoy scuba diving, watercolor painting, knitting and cooking (including campfire cooking) for friends. Home Town: Started out in New Jersey (Byram and Sparta), now in Columbia Station, Ohio. Favorite Boondocking Locations: I visited a beautiful location in Michigan near Interlochen during 4th of July weekend when it was impossible to find State Park reservations and the host was amazing - supplied complete hookups to 3 sites like a real campground! Skills or Expertise to Share: Engineering, computers, "gourmet" cooking, RV system repair knowledge, music, art, scuba diving.

Lovely host. We stayed here more than once, and if we lived locally we would be good friends. Kind much needed hospitality. Stayed up late talking about mutual interests and travel. Would recommend to anyone. Much appreciated respite during long travel.

The host was very clear with his directions. He always responded quickly to my questions. Parking was a bit snug because the rain had made the front yard too soft to park in. However, I was able to fit next to my camper without blocking the homes access. The stay worked out very well.

Communication with Valerie was excellent. She gave us perfect instructions on where and how to park for an easy entrance and exit. We were almost level which is good since it was pouring down rain when we arrived and putting out the leveling blocks was not what we wanted to be doing. This was the perfect location for us when last minute change of plans brought us to the west side of Cleveland. We appreciated greatly Valerie's hospitality.

Easy access with electricity if needed. Valerie invited us in for a beverage even though we got in late, very gracious host. Large RVs and trailers may have difficulty with access.
