You can park in driveway beside house if requiring water or electric or space at end of driveway otherwise. Retired and living the good life! Details: I am a retired teacher and my hubby is a retired firefighter and a recreational pilot. We live on a beautiful little lake in Muskoka Ontario. We love to travel and our little labradoodle accompanies us. We have recently switched from a Winnebago View to a Lance Travel Trailer. We have driven across Canada, toured Haida Gwaii and Gwaii Haanas, traveled to the Carolinas, driven the Blueridge Parkway, spent time in the Adirondacks and visited the Maritimes and Newfoundland. In 2018 we drove to New Mexico, visited the National Parks in Utah and California and drove Hwy 1 north along the Pacific Coast and then headed east visiting Yellowstone on our way home. We love meeting new people and exploring new and interesting places! Home Town: We live outside of Huntsville Ontario on a small lake. Huntsville is part of an area known as Muskoka, beautiful cottage country and land of lakes, forests and rock. It is an all season location, and a very popular tourist destination. Algonquin Provincial Park is about a 40 minute drive away, where you can often view moose, bears and other wildlife. The Group of Seven Painters are famous for their depictions off Muskoka - especially Tom Thomson. Skills or Expertise to Share: I love the outdoors, hiking and photography. My hubby is a recreational pilot, snowmobiler and handyman - and can fix just about anything. We enjoy kayaking in the summer and X-country skiing in the winter.

We were looking for a place to stay over on our way from Killbear to Algonquin Park and Fox Den worked out perfectly. Even though they had guests Ellen and her husband took time out from dinner to greet us and make sure we had everything we needed. They also invited us to join them around their campfire later that evening where we met their guests and chatted about our travels, etc. Thanks again Ellen!

Ellen & her husband were wonderful hosts! We enjoyed sharing our mutual travel tips & stories sitting with them by the lake. They even lent us their amazing bug swatter to rid our camper of a few pesky mosquitoes 🦟 that snuck in 😊 A truly wonderful stay! ***FOLLOW ELLEN’S DRIVING INSTRUCTIONS NOT YOUR GPS*** Her instructions are spot on 👍🏻
