Craig was awesome to work with! He was so gracious to accommodate our needs. He’s a wonderful communicator. We felt safe & secure & his property is so secluded & peaceful, even though it is not far from the beaten path. I highly recommend staying with this HH!

Google maps kept directing us to a development, so we use our RV GPS exclusively. Our Hosts were great communicators! You must take this tight turn between several mail boxes and a few cinder blocks very slowly onto their single lane gravel road. Parking after that was a nonissue, flat and semi shaded, so it cooled down quite well at the end of the day, and far enough away from the main road for a peaceful night’s sleep. Our host was such a pleasure to chat with and so helpful! We really enjoyed Fredericksburg; much was forgotten in the nearly 50 years since US History class. We caught a park ranger tour at the battlefield and also got a history lesson at the visitors center. So much to do in this area, and our Hosts were checking in on us every day, offering up suggestions that we followed up on, which we so appreciated! This location is a good staging area for trips to DC or Richmond and all the history one would want while offering every convenience you would hope for. Not to miss here is the A Smith Bowman Distillery's free tour and sampling, unfortunately we took our credit cards with us, and will be taking back home more bottles than we expected, but guaranteed it won’t last long. Verizon is not the best provider here and the Hosts offered up their WiFi that we immediately jumped on. Many thanks to our Hosts for all the big and all the little things! We hope to see them in NH someday, and they are on our radar when/if we come back this way and they will have us.

I really enjoyed my stay. It was convenient to town. Also, nice and quiet. Craig was helpful in checking in to make sure I had what I needed. I recommend for anyone visiting this area!

Craig was very accommodating when we asked to stay an extra night to explore Fredricksburg. The street and driveway were a bit of a challenge for me as a newbie but we did it. Nice quiet spot.
