Like to travel and see things. Details: We are quiet folks, don`t smoke or even drink for that matter, been there done that. In bed early. We want to travel for a while before our health deteriorates further. Like quiet spots for over night camping not the noisy party atmosphere, been there done that. We don`t travel with pets. Leave our cat at home with the pet sitter ( sister in law ). Also like going to car shows or stock car racing/ drag racing. I`m a sucker for old cars. Like animals, bird watching, pets, nature. Went on a 2 month trip across Canada in 2019 before Covid, stopping at Whitehorse. Stopped at a couple of BW hosts and they were wonderful stays. The best trip ever. I said we`re going to do that when we get back home. So here we are. Home Town: New Glasgow NS Favorite Boondocking Locations: Boondockers Welcome is by far my favorite place to boondock. Haven`t done much boon docking yet. Race tracks but they sometimes have a party atmosphere with generators going all night long. Used Walmarts a few times even a gravel pit once. Skills or Expertise to Share: Did plumbing and pipefitting a million years ago. Was a landlord at one time. Worked in the forestry for a while. Did a little carpentry mostly on my own home. Work on my old cars. Jack of all trades, master of none.

Joan and Floyd are folks you would like to have as full-time Neighbors. They are kind, helpful and attentive; our new friends. Joan even surprised us with her especial family recipe of cinnamon buns, handed down to her by her Mother. That was a delightful pleasure! We hope to see them and their beautiful gardens in the future!

We enjoyed our stay with Joan and Floyd, When we arrived they came out to greet us and showed us where to park for the night. We had water and 30 amp hookup in an easy to access location. The property is amazing with established, healthy gardens - one can tell they have put in many hours of care. Once we were settled we were delighted when our hosts dropped by with homemade cinnamon rolls. What a wonderful experience! If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful stay and welcoming hosts you have found it!
