GA Gypsies

We don't have a babbling brook, a river front view, an ocean side site or a panoramic view from atop a tall mountain. What we might be lacking in amenties we certainly try to make up for with a plate piled high with Southern Hospitality. Expect warm smiles and a friendly wave when you arrive. And, we will do everything possible to make you feel like you are home. Conveniently located on three acres near Interstate 16 in Central Georgia. We are located halfway between Atlanta and Savannah. Parking area in rear of our house. -- no pull through but there is plenty of room to back up. Water. 30/50 amp available. If we have three guests, power may be limited to 30 amps. With heavy rains we may have puddles, but the soil is sandy and will drain usually overnight. IF it has been raining for several days we may have to cancel reservations for heavy rigs, or not accept requests for heavy rigs. Fire pit and charcoal grill available. Your campsite is approximately 100 yards off Georgia Hwy 112. During the day there is a fair amount of truck traffic on this road. It normally gets very quiet at night.  Only one BW guest has ever commented on the traffic noise. There is an active railroad track about 4/10 mile away.  The train comes once or twice a day. Suggested Local Attractions: This is country! Macon is 35 miles away, Dublin is 20 miles. There is a Dollar General store in town. Dublin has St. Patrick's Festival in March; Macon was home to the Allman Brothers, Otis Redding, Little Richard and a host of other famous singers. Capricorn Recording Studio is located in Macon as well. There are several museums and other sights to see, Macon has their Cherry Blossom Festival in March Be sure to visit the Ocmulgee National Monument (Indian Mounds) in Macon.
