Retired couple who love to travel. Details: Retired in 2014 and enjoy extended travels in our camper. The best part of RV travel is seeing the sights, enjoying the regional food, and especially meeting the locals. -- When we are wintering in Georgia we enjoy Boondockers Welcome hosting. If you can't be on the road the next best thing is having Boondockers Welcome guest. After four years in the Air Force, I spent 25 years in the high tech industry. First as a Field Service Engineer moving my way up to a service manager, then into sales and when I retired at 48 from this industry I was working as an international marketing manager. At 50 I went back to college and got a BSN and worked as an RN for four years before I decided that I was too old to be doing this. That was my last job. My life long wife/business partner/navigator/trip planner/co-captain retired as a Registered Nurse. She started out her career as a NICU nurse and later moved into the non-clinical aspects of nursing. We love nothing more than being on the road, and when we can't be on the road we enjoy hosting campers at our place. Since 2014 we have been traveling about six months out of the year. Home Town: Allentown, GA (middle Georgia) Skills or Expertise to Share: Electrical and some wood working.

Anne and Ken have a wonderful place to park your camper. They take the time to introduce you to the area and are very welcoming. It is well maintained and level. We were able to easily get to Macon since the location is close to I16. Power was available for the asking. Thanks again Anne and Ken for sharing your place. We will book again the next time we come to Macon.

this is my second time visiting this Boondock location, and it was New Year’s Eve. My dogs hate fireworks, so this was the best place in the world. We only heard one small noise from far away and the rest of the night was quiet and peaceful. K and A are the best house and they’re set up is amazing.

Super hosts communicated right away and with great directions to a gem of a spot very close to the main route; quiet, safe and warm. The house is surrounded by multiple varieries of 50 year old camillias💕(if we are back this way mext year, I am hoping for a cutting🙏🏻). Ken and Anne could not have been more hospitable, so we would definitely stop again. It’s volunteer hosts lile them that make BW such a joy to use. Thank you!!
