House Rules
No smoking on the property. We like our neighbors and respect them and would like for you to do the same. We have three young children so please be respectful of noise at night etc... (even though sometimes they aren't!)!
Location
Access Road Conditions: There is a narrow 400 foot unmaintained access road with a somewhat steep entrance and then some loose sand used to access our property. We have a 31 ft. travel trailer that we frequently enter and leave with but you need to be cautious of a large tree near the edge of the road right as you turn into our property. You can turn wide (it feels like you are cutting into the neighbors front yard, but that is not actually the case, and he is fine with it anyway). When making a wide turn, the ground is uneven so you need to know and manage your rig well. If we're at home when you arrive, we are happy to help guide you in! Caution should be used scouting branches etc... Again, for our trailer we don't have a problem and cars it is no problem but you need to know your rig! Tow Vehicle Parking Details: We have 2 acre lot and there is plenty of room to park

It was a great place to park for a quiet night. Host met me and directed to parking spot. Larger rigs should watch for some lower tree branches. Nothing that can’t be worked around. Thanks for the stay.

We arrived later than expected, but our host was beyond gracious and accommodating, providing electric hookup and wifi. We enjoyed a quick chat, then had a nice, quiet evening. Highly recommend — hope to make it back in the future.

Tom and Lynn were very welcoming hosts! It was fascinating hearing about their experiences in Ecuador. They have 2 acres of land bordered by trees and it was easy to find a level spot. This location is close to the Gainesville-Hawthorn Bike Trail, with options for biking or hiking into the Sweetwater Preserve. We really enjoyed our stay! We also hope they all get a chance to do more exploring in the US!!
