Retired Details: Retired from NYDOT. Own a Bed and Breakfast with Wife Joan. Had the B&B for 25years. Myself and lacy dog(standard poodle) do most of the camping. About 100 days a year, half Boondocking. Home Town: I have been in Allegany NY nearly all my life. With in a 1/4 mile of my home now. Except for 3 years in US Army 1962-1965 when I met my wife Joan in Wisconsin. Favorite Boondocking Locations: My friends River Bank along the Allegany river. Tractor shows in Wisconsin. South Carolina in the winter. Skills or Expertise to Share: If your not handsom you better be handy.

Folks were very accomodating and it was an easy pullin right along their garage. Quiet sleep in a safe place.

spent a great night here - host was welcoming and communicative, nice little dive bar restaurant down the road. some traffic noise but i like that. super accessible spot.

I was greated by the gentleman that runs the B&B with his wife. Very nice individual! He directed me to the parking area and made sure I know where the hook ups were. Highly recommend staying here! I would love to come back to stay at the B&B!

We had a great time here! If you love historic houses then you’ll love this place! We were able to park just fine in the space with our 37’ class A. Also, food is less than 10 minutes away which was great for us because we arrived later in the evening.

Gallets House was a great stop for us as we traversed upstate NY and points west. It's easy to find and minutes off the interstate. Highly recommend.
