Hi, I'm Amy Details: I have been raising children, gardens, animals and just about anything that grows for over 20 years now and ready to hit the road and start a new chapter. Always wanted an RV, but the expense of gas has always stopped me from purchasing. Finally realized a little red wagon to roam has been sitting in my garage all this time so working to convert to livable space and take some trips to explore not only the U.S., but the life style as well. Wishing everyone happy trails and safe travels. Home Town: Springfield, IL Favorite Boondocking Locations: Just starting so do not know yet. Have traveled a lot in my life, but just starting the van mode! Skills or Expertise to Share: Accounting, some software, and mechanical things I never wanted to know!

Beautiful setting and very quiet. Host was attentive and gracious. I enjoyed walking her lovely property with her. Thanks for letting me stay.

I parked near the barn, separated from the main house by a nice garden on one side, and a paddock on the other. The driveway is quite an incline, so levelling gear is required. There is a large tree, so there is plenty of shade over the driveway. It obstructs solar panels though. Amy is the ultimate host. Gracious, generous, caring, an awesome conversationalist, an overall great human being. I thoroughly enjoyed my three day stay, which we started as strangers, and ended being friends. And that, to me, is what travelling is all about.

Very nice, quiet place to spend the night. Our host made sure we had what we needed before we retired for the evening.

What a great place and a really enjoyable host!! I didn’t want to leave. The host was so much fun, we talked forever and her dog was a real joy. I woke up in the morning with the dog waiting outside my door with all his toys. I would love to go back and stay longer!
