Family of 5 exploring our great country Details: We're a family of 5 -- Mom, Dad, and 3 daughters (ages 16, 13, and 8) -- from California's San Joaquin Valley. We all cram into a Class B motorhome, but it's okay because we like each other. :-) We've been traveling as a family for years, but just bought an RV and are excited to see more of the country that we've skipped over so far. Dad is an engineer, and Mom homeschools the girls. Home Town: We're from farm country in California's San Joaquin Valley. Favorite Boondocking Locations: We're new to this, so we don't have any favorite locations yet. So far we've only boondocked in a freeway rest area and in my brother's driveway. Skills or Expertise to Share: I'm good at bargain shopping and vacation planning on a budget.

Communication with hosts was easy and quick, offering either a spot in their driveway or in front of their house. I parked in front of their house and was able to chat a little in the morning! It's a perfect location if you're headed into or leaving Sequoia!

Had a nice stay over on my way to sequoia. Nice family in a regular quiet neighborhood. Parked on the street in front so no awning or folding chairs outside but it totally did the job. Would stop again. Mat

A great host family with a charming energy. While we were amazed that all 5 could travel comfortably in their Class B, it was easy to see how the family respected and appreciated each other. AND they suggested a visit to the underground gardens in Fresno which turned out to be a worthwhile and informing stop.
