This was our first experience with an RV and Boondocking welcome ( we have the all access harvest host membership) we wanted to go somewhere close to home to figure everything out with the RV and us being new to camping. We were welcomed by Karl and made us feel welcome. We were able to use their power, and we tripped late night their breaker with our airconditioning ( oh.. no… those first time campers 🙈) sorry! The site is Amazing!!! We were allowed to park beyond the driveway so we had a view of the river , we also were allowed to sit on their side patio to get an even better view. We had a great experience and memory made, Would love to go back again :) Thank you for hosting us !

Karl was an excellent host! He offered us full use of his deck, dock, yard and bocce court. We had a wonderful time taking in the scenery and watching the barges go by. He even had a 15amp power cord and wifi available. We walked our pups to the Chilo Lock park nearby. If you get the chance…I highly recommend visiting this amazing location!

Karl and Brenda are the friendliest hosts. It was an experience to stand in paradise on the Ohio River. I look forward to seeing them again.

Karl and Brenda are the premiere hosts. They provided us with premium parking on the Ohio River. They offered 15amp power, access to their deck, yard and bocce ball court. We sat and watched the barges go by as we relaxed with our puppies. It is a short walk to the Chilo Locks Park which I highly recommend. This was a fantastic boondockers paradise that everyone should experience! Thank you Karl and Brenda!

Like so many others have said, this site is special in that one can sit high on the banks of the Ohio river and overlook its activities. The hosts do not seem to tire of kind hospitality - let us come in on short notice and did not mind as weather changed our plans quickly.
