We have a small acreage on the south side of Norris Illinois with 2 30-amp hookups. Water and dump station is also available. It is on route 78 about 2 miles north of Canton Il. and 7 miles south of Farmington Il. A good place to stay overnight when traveling and it has 2 restaurants in walking distance. One attraction would be Spoon River Drive the first two weeks of Oct. We are just over a mile from a Walmart store and about two miles from a city park and swimming pool.

I grew up on this place until I went into service. After we retired Yvette and I have traveled a lot, spending winters in Texas. We have family in Texas so we spend some time there.. We live in Galesburg Il, but spend as much time as we can at the Norris acers. There is a dump station, water and electric available at the site. We just ask for a donation of your choice when using hook-ups which we donate to some local charity at the end of season. Please call (309)368-8729 (no text on this #) or (309)368-7269.

Gerald and Yvette are charming hosts even building a campfire for us! They also shared some history and logistics of the area at our request. We enjoyed our stay in Norris and visited the local museum in nearby Farmington for more information about the area. Nearby Canton has a great diner with its own bakery near the town square.

The spot on an old farm is beautiful. Quiet small town . The stories of there lives from growing up on a family farm to becoming a Korean war veteran and owning a Harley dealership to driving semi trucks ! What a life they have lead . Wonderful people invited me to go to dinner at a local spot 2 min away food was great . cant say enough good things about this spot !
