We're right in the city, so everything you need is nearby. We live in a quiet neighborhood with pleasant evening breezes. Suggested Local Attractions:Where to begin? We're two doors from the city path bike trail which connects to many other bike trails. Marquette has history, scenery, shopping, beaches... hiking, mountain biking, craft beer, numerous festivals and happenings all the time. Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, berry picking, jumping off Black Rocks into Lake Superior, grabbing a pasty... you're limited only by your imagination :-)

Middle-Agers with Wanderlust! Details: We're two wanna-be retirees, who have been into the Class B thing for about 20 years. We enjoy good food, good company, outdoors pursuits, and craft beer :) We have one recently-fledged adult child, but on the road it's just us two plus our small dog (we'll always be cool enough for her). He's in the building industry, she gets bored easily and is still figuring out what to be when she grows up... Note: Although our "travel preferences" indicate generator use, we're fine with not using the generator if your location doesn't allow it. Home Town: We're confirmed cheeseheads - she's from southern Wisconsin and he is from central Wisconsin. Favorite Boondocking Locations: We don't have specific ones to list here - they can be sort of random especially out west with public lands - but we are excited to be part of Boondockers Welcome! We hope to meet some great people and make some great memories through this service.

This was our first BW stay and it was great. Our hosts were friendly and helpful. The park-up was quiet and within walking distance to downtown and plenty of dining options. Thanks!

Martha and Jeff were great hosts, so kind and helpful with finding things to do in town. The trail is so close, so getting to downtown and bike riding was very easy! We would defiantly stay again, and so should you if you get a chance! 😊

What a cozy hostess and guest gentleman. We enjoyed each other's travel stories and got good travel apps. Enjoyed lots of beautiful birds from behind our RV windows. Unfortunately we could not make a bike tour there are beautiful cycle paths here, there is too much snow. Thank you for the hospitality.

The hosts were friendly and very accommodating for our stay. The parking was easy and level. The neighborhood was quiet with a bike/hike path that was convenient to use. We had a great stay at Gitche Gumee Shores!
