Suggested Local Attractions:May 1 to Nov.1, Blue Ridge Music Center. Labor Day and Memorial Day weekends really BIG flea market and gun show. All kinds of music jam sessions most nights of the week. Galax Fiddlers Convention in Aug. All kinds of festivals from May to Oct. 28 miles from Mt. Airy, NC. Home of Andy Griffith.

These ladies are just the best. We got stuck in the bad weather and these gracious ladies let us hang out for another day. We have become great friends and always share a few laughs. Isn't that what boondockers welcome is all about?

We had a quick but very pleasant stay with these cordial and welcoming hosts. Very easy access and private and level parking area. Would definitely stay again.
