We both call Wisconsin home, for now...looking for warmer winters. I'm a "Retired Pro Gun Dog Trainer" and wife is a "Retired Teacher". Love driving and camping anywhere. Love traveling with our two labs wherever we go.

Couldn't ask for a more perfect place to park our big rig and the view of the pond was exquisite. We only ended up staying one night because it was goose hunting season. Glenn called a few days ahead of our arrival to inform us of hunting season we thought it would be no problem but didn't realize the pond was right there with the geese and we had our two dogs with us so it wasn't a good fit for this time of the year. We definitely would come back outside of hunting season because they were close to the highway in the parking was great.

Our hosts were super accommodating and welcoming. We were set up at the exact spot and given access for our 2 labs to the beautiful grounds. Very quiet and laid back stay which is always welcome. Would definitely recommend for any boondockers in the area.

We fell in love with this place. It has a big grassy field and nice pond. Glenn, the host, helped us park facing the pond where we had a great view of the whole area. He regularly mows walking paths through the field. While talking to Glenn, we were fortunate to see a mother deer come and get her fawn from the underbrush at the pond where it had been taking cover during the day. His wife, Sherry, brought us literature/calendar of events from the Chamber of Commerce about the town of Oconomowac. We highly recommend this awesome location and fabulous hosts.

This was a truly lovely place with the perfect hosts. Our 29' trailer was parked facing the fields. There were beautiful sunsets each evening, the sounds of frogs from the pond, sandhill cranes, red winged black birds (all kinds of birds, really!), and deer who visited nightly with their fawns. The fireflies were truly amazing! We were very grateful that this host allows a five night stay, but even then, we were sad to leave. Easy to find, easy to level, easy to communicate. Couldn't have been better!

You couldn't ask for a better host and property. They have enough room to let your dog run off leash and swim. I had so much fun.
